kinda bummed...

Been stoked last week to try some of dutchgrowns c99 f2 , an today I got the letter from the boutique an turns out i only got 1 of the 2 packs an seems to be 1 crushed beans an possible 1 preme, I already used the contact on site to see what the deal is, I wanted to start all these at same time but guess I should be glad I got any in the mail.. =(

Kinda disapointed cus few months ago I ordered 2 packs of lui an received 2 packs of legends adventure mix an again this seems like another 150 doller lose,, I mean I hate to say man these guys doing packing an read what what shipment is , cus I cant afford the carelessness.

Im gonna germ them now , sucks ones already cracked =/ ill keep yas posted .. so far not start I wanted.

Sorry to hear of your rocky start. It will all work out, no worries. I'm sure that if you go through the proper channels and communicate with customer service via email that there are provisions in place for seeds which arrived to you damaged. It's in the FAQ's for Seed Boutique.

Edit to add......All customer service matters pertaining to orders are handled strictly by customer service from either Seedbay or Seed Boutique. They are professionals and I'm most confident in their resolve of such matters.

Thanks!

Figured Id post a small update ,, this planned project hasnt worked out so much.. Im not sure why i been having such major issues with gettin the proper order from SB.. Im kinda gettin a odd story from them as far where my c99 are they told me there was a delay in packing in they went out at a sep time, this was over 10 days ago I have already received another order from them.. truthfully its odd why they didnt add that second pack to the letter it was only 2 strains packed plus a freebee c99 an some chunkycheese.. that second pack of c99 shoudl have gone with the rest I been ordering seeds for 10 years since seed direct ,, they didnt even say in the email they broke the order up... hope I can get them an I can say more nice things about them but latley they been killing me.

anyway I did start to pop the 1 pack I got for so far an got 5 outta 10 to pop .. not sure how much these were tested but 5 kinda stinks first 5 popped in 72 hours an just coming out of the soil while others Im still trying to germ but looks like I got a 5 outta 10 I wish was alittle better but well see Im gonna pop the others if I ever get them..

I will have pics soon I wanted to start atleast 20 of these I ordered 3 packs with intent starting 2 for here an to put one away only 1 of the 3 have arrived ,,so far slow start...

Ill keep checking my mail til others get here so I can get on with this .

Hello again.....I'm most confident that with proper communication with the staff at SB all your order woes will be rectified.

As for your concern with germination, I can say with complete confidence that germ testing of the C99 f2's produced 100% germ rate, as exhibited in the image I've posted below. The germ test was performed Dec 2, 2009 and these seeds passed with flying colors.

The image below was taken at the 48 hr mark. A peek at them at 24 hrs indicated around 85%, with the remaining 15% germing in the 25-48 hr period.

As for the seed you labeled as being premature in your first post....I can assure you that each seed is hand selected after all sorting and 2 pinch tests are performed by me...this task is not left up to anyone else to do other than myself. Perhaps it is the distinct lighter color (almost a bluish/grey hue) that is indicative of Cinderella99 that is confusing you. In my experience with seeds (which is quite vast on many levels), there are many many different shades/colors/markings/shapes to cannabis seeds. The truest tests of seed viability are pinch and germ, both of which I have complete confidence in these C99 f2's having passed. All my seeds are pinch tested not just once, but twice. The probability of 5 nonviable seeds (through human error) making their way into a single pack is virtually impossible.

Sorry to hear you had less than what you expected to germinate for you. Perhaps you should double check your method. A less than stellar result having experience at previous germinating of seeds does not automatically mean that it's the fault of the seed....more often than not the performance is attributed to grower error, e.g., too cold, too warm, too dry, too wet, too deep in medium, etc. I have to question those things because I am so confident in the viability of my seeds. Hopefully the remaining 5 you mentioned will pop their heads up soon-ly for you.

You are welcome to post your grow pics in a new thread that you mentioned starting sometime. I look forward to it!

sad to hear of any problems concerning these seeds.....but will need some verification first.....can you post some pics of the pack you have received, include the serial/lot number?.......and then I can double check....

and if you can contact support@seedbay.com directly with an order number then they will evaluate the situation.....Occasionally we do get false claims , that is why we need to confirm if you are a real customer or not.....

yeah I hope it works out just seems confusing why they sent the way they did but Ill give it more time

my method 4 germin , I mean is pretty basic , paper towel an 1 gallon zip lock, i use water i test @ 5.5ph I put them ontop my wooden veg camber then cover the bags with poly, everyday I open it up an check them.. once the tap pop I plant them in solo cups. So not sure where things went wrong this time, a few popped real strong in 48 hours but others did not.. the ONLY thing I can think is maybe there was to much water , after I put the seeds in the ziplock I threw a extra slash of water in the bag.. I was also germinating some chunkycheese in same bag an I got 5/5 wit them within 48 hours

next time Im going try with less water in the bags only thing I can think is cindy didnt like germin in that soaked of a towel.. the others havent popped yet but I havent given up yetthough not looking good going on past 4 days.. Hopefully tomorrow i can try again more.

most the seeds looked great there was one just kinda warped an small , it smaller an off shape compared to the others.. so maybe not preme just wasnt common seed like the others, its all good though .. i got high hopes for next round

at this point I can only blame myself for low germ rate, I mean shit 3 months ago u got 100% couldnt find 1 bean in the pic that didnt germ so Im kinda lost as how I should try to germ the next pack.

thanks

Yes or at least write out the packs serial/lot numbers here.......I can see from your previous posts that you do post some pics th3gr33ncur3........so get your camera out and lets see some pic's of the packs serial/lot number and the claimed unviable seeds....

...might help us verify your claim since our own germ tests do not show the negative results that you have.....
