Welcoming Dieselrella to my garden
Well First off I have to give a big thanks to Dutchgrown for these seeds . I won them from her Holiday photo contest, I won a surprize( a pack of seeds of her choice) for my photo. If i had known at the time of entering the contest these seeds were the prizes id have tried even harder. Thank you Dutchgrown.
I am very excited to try this cross out as I have seen how big soma's NYCD can be with the right pheno. And I'm sure the cindy doesnt take away from the yield and only adds flavor and potency Ill be popping them tomorrow morning till then a pick of the seeds in the breederpack |

Nice! Glad they arrived to you, although looks to have been a tad bit of a rocky ride, loosing some tiger striping on the way.
Look forward to seeing those babies going! ![]() ![]() DG |

Yeah they got roughed up a bit but they all look intact. Interesting variation in size amongst the seeds. I labeled which were large seeds and which were small to see if that plays any role in genetic dominance. Dont really know if this has any real bearing or usefulness but we shall see.
This morning i woke up early and planted 7 seeds into cups and put them under a light. Hopefully in a couple of day ill have more to show then some cups with dirt in them. Again i feel the need to say how excited i am to grow this cross out im positive ill find some great plants in these seven seeds . Heres a pic of the cups with seeds in them the three square pots are OJD's SSSDH. |

First sprout is out of the dirt a few more will bee above ground by this evening. I took a photo and im not sure if its noticeable but this sprout is very purple. Im not sure what to expect with the NYCD but if i remember correctly its a colorful plant. Should make for some photogenic ladies. Ill have more tomorrow

Thank you nnep I may have sprouted it but the person who should take that compliment is DG
Hey DG first baby out with 4 more close behind and the last two have germinated and are about to break soil by tomorrow morning.100% Germ rate and all look healthy. I'd say we are off to a good start Pictures of the rest of the gang, I will number them so we can keep track of them individually. #1 first to break through to light #2 #3 #4 Just getting out of the soil #5 still hasn't gotten its helmet off Ill have pics of the last two when they break ground |
