Why so much weed ariund lately

Just curious if anyone knows why there is so much home grown weed around. I have been in the buisness for almost 20 years and it has always been the same, summer drought, winter slows down up until chrstmas, then new years comes and it picks up again. After summer it is everywhere. It is now well past outdoor and still the market is flooded, not with mostly outdoor, but about half indoor and half the later.

Like I said this is a big change in pattern. I knew there was going to be change since the fall of the vietnamese empire, but this is off the charts weird. I hear certain kush strains going for 2800 dollars a pound which is unheard of in Canada to the people in the known, since the early ninties. Others, still very good grades going for 2000 dollars. Seems weird though I here and see the higher grade stuff selling for 30 dollars a half quarter. Its all mixed up and makes no sense to me.

My prediction was with the the vitenamese in recession, another heavy was going to fill the gap, I thought the Hells Angles, but there crippled by the big bust recently and it most probably is not them. Also the weed is dry, but not bone dry so that tells me is is not sent from afar, especially when not vacuum sealed. I also thought this Smart Meter thing would scare off a lot of home the smaller home growers (as they usually make up a large percentage of whats on the street), even though it is not activated yet.

May be the Smart Meters are scaring home growers more than I thought and they are trying to get there last chances in.

By the way, I already know the SM are published as a scare tactic and only for the hydro companies use, not anything to worry about. Just thought I would mention that.

Anyone with some input please feel free. Thanks in advance.

People are feeling less worried about growing now that politically we will be winning this fight within the next 5-10 years max. Sucks that it has taken so long just to get the laws as far as they are.

Ya same thing here, a lot of people that used to buy from a person I know ha ha are now growing for themselves and sharing with friends. Thats a good thing, the more people grow their own, the less incentive for profit, the more sharing of seeds clones. And one day full legalization.

I haven't bought this year, but have been offered really good weed at 160 an oz.

Netwerx grabbed some off our usual guy - it kicked our asses...

Do you miss the Up In Smoke as much as I do???

Puff Mamas cookies always booted me right in the cerebellum.

And Steph - Adam, John, Chris (even the wacked out Rev. Chris is missed). The volcano was always vaping, the hitters were always hittin'. I preferred the front store crowd to the private lounge, anyway - never knew what was gonna come thru the door...

The march to / smoke out at Hamilton city hall was the last time I saw most of 'em.

I miss ya guys - UIS was my home away from home...

Peace, pot and pasta to you and yours, my HamBurl brother...

Hello

TGT I am aware of a group that harvested close to 500 outdoor plants at the end of last summer not to mention a perpetual grow of 200 indoor plants in your area. They have over 1500 clones going outdoors this summer. They got extremely fed up with the greed of dealers and low quality of product available, so they made it there mission to flood the market as much as possible, they feel that too long have people talked legalization only to not take action because of the money they make from selling. I'm not really sure where I stand as I don't really buy anymore, but I'm not complaining. And as far as I'm concerned all the better that fucking retarded violent mother fuckers like the HA's are collapsing, the fact that marijuana was ever associated with those criminal ass hat fags, will hurt the cannabis movement for years to come.

i have tha answer for tht...
im from montreal (canada) if u dont noe and weed around here goes for 3500 a pound
and its price is so high bcuz we montreal ppl live in cities and only high grain pot is growen here and not alot of ppl wanna grow bcuz its smells to grow sum exotic's and drug dealers over here extorting tha system they all overprice weed. Drug runz over here weight there 20bags for 1.2g which is like 2 joints and bong hit for me and if one other drug runz would sell there 20bag at 1.6 or 2g there would get cracked and shut down so everyone sells at the same shit it sucks so grow weed lmaoo
