i pulled 25g off one plant(dried) and really pulled her to early. had to. but.... she did have amber trichs and the more i let her sit she gets better and better. it was buttery lemons when i cut her but as she sits and cures it's starting to smell sweeter. more like candy. definite lemon through and through! next time i want to really push her and get some more bud and amber trichs. great plant all around in my opinion. very oily.

Well I didn't have very good luck with my Hawaiian Snow. Bought a 5-pack, only one sprouted, and this is what I got after 84 days of flowering:
![]() In flowering it just vegged and vegged and vegged. I switched to an 11/13 light cycle but still no signs of flowers. Somewhere around day 50 I saw the first white calyx. The plant was still growing like mad; without training and bending this would easily be over 7ft tall! The only thing keeping me going at this point was the potent sweet onion smell that Arjan and other have talked about. I kept telling myself that the longer the wait on this one, the more sativa it likely was, and the greater mind-bending dankness would be in store for me if I could just. wait. it. out. Well, long story short bro, it was a giant pain in the ass, the sweet onion smell faded, and I never saw a single trichome. Not even smokable. I took her down at day 84, to make room for some other girls who had been waiting in the wings patiently. I have a couple other pictures of the plant in my album. Has anyone had anything similar to this?

I've been seeing lately a lot of people buying seeds from places other than gypsy bitching about germ rates, but that's about it. Although, there are plenty of complaints here about germ rates that did come from gypsy, but they are mostly old and I question the growers on majority of them especially after my hands on experience with many GHS strains now.
TheAir, I in no way planned on popping Hawaiian Sativa as a result of knowing its genetic heritage like MNS SSH and Mango Haze will most likely give me a few plants out of pack or two at day 84 that look like that, since it 100% has some 120 day flowering phenos given the genetics, but maybe I will now though cuz I hear so many say how awesome HS is and yours looks pretty terrible. Even for it only being one pheno that you have to reported on. Did you pop the rest or just have a bad experience with only growing a single seed and decide not to pop more? I saw someone post a picture of a Cheese plant that grew terrible and mutated, a single pheno mind you, he touted it as what GHS offers for their cheese and it went viral on all grow forums. However, I pop a pack of cheese and get awesome results like the majority of people I know for a fact know how to grow and realize that one bad pheno can be found in any genetics...Not saying this si the case with something I have yet to grow but I think the question was warranted and I'd love other peopel to chime in with their experience if they have with this one strain. Here's some of my last LSK pack I popped and so far out of everything I have popped great germ rates. ![]() ![]() ![]()

I have had some similar, truly terrible results with some of GHS'es longer flowering haze varieties. I had a single Hawaiian Snow that came in a color coded pack that was pretty much exactly like what you've got there. I bought a pack of Northern Lights X Haze X Mist, and all 5 popped, and all 5 grew pretty much just like that as well. i also had a single Lemon Skunk that came out looking similar, which was quite a surprise considering its short and stout indica roots. That said, I am not looking for a long-flowering variety, so once I see something that looks like a sloth, I pretty much put it on the back burner immediately, and I probably cut them all early, so I can't tell you whether there was a quality that made up for the late flowers.
However, I should mention that I've only had so many bad experiences with some of GHS seeds because I've had so many GOOD experiences with some of their other seeds. I love their Cheese, SLH, and SSH, and have keepers from all. Considering the price, and the fact that I'm purposely chasing after a tasty, shorter flowering Haze strain or two (which are notoriously unstable), I was not all that surprised with the results. My personal opinion is that the GHS Haze stocks make for good on-the-side experimenting/ultimate-pheno-hunting, but the risk/work necessary are above-average, and therefore they make for a crappy choice for beginners like myself and/or folks with little extra space/time/energy. |

bummer airupthere thats a pretty poor result! although theres plenty of winners to be had from GHSC as you can see on this forum .. i think value for money wise GHSC are pretty bloody good ... ive got a good share of keepers come through there seed packs you just have to look past the used car salesman style hype they use to sell them lol

Hazes are by their very nature, crazy most of the times. It is the a strain for experienced growers only imo with all its crazy phenos and super long flowering time on some phenos (obviously the majority are not so hard to grow, but more than a fair share comparatively speaking to other strains). I still avoid most hazes as a result of flowering time a lone...most are at least 85-90 day strains no matter what the damn package says.
