Dosing dry ferts ((KNO3, KH2PO4, K2SO4, Trace )

Im new to growing, but I've had a planted aquarium for some time. And in the planted aquarium world alot of people have move away from premixed ferts and liquid ferts, and have gone straight to the source. (KNO3, KH2PO4, K2SO4, Trace )

Now im not looking to get all scientific because the only reason i do this is because I use it on my aquarium and we get instructions from the scientific people. Oh yea raw ferts are also helllla cheap.

So does anyone do this?

oh here is the scientific aquarium gurus website on ferts: https://www.rexgrigg.com/dosing.htm

Nice, So what sort of a mix are you using, and what ferts? It would seem for flowing and different combination would be desired.

Yes, your right, veg and flower need different amounts of each base fert...as for what kind of dry ferts, well that is up to you...There are a ton of threads that cover all this info...check out organics 101 for newbs....soil recipes......or google this "Subcool supersoil recipe" and thats another one....but the organics thread 101, has about 5 or so recipes....When i use dry ferts, In veg i just use a nutrient rich soil and feed straight water, but i dont veg for very long either...2-3 weeks and then to flower...Then for flower you will obviously need to ammend the soil with the correct amount of Flower ferts....Jamaican bat gauno......Blood meal......bone meal...worm castings....kelp....phosphorou s....just mixed in the rightr ratio...so all i have to do is feed straight water or with some teas till harvest...no mixing ferts and all that....So take a look man....you will find all the info you need in the above mentioned threads...By the way....Once you start growing the kind, it will be hard to stop..hahah... it sucks you in quick.....before you know it, you have moved your family and all the shit in your house out to the front lawn, and setting up tents so you can optimize all the space in your house for growing.....happened to me......TWICE! hahaha Later dude...
