LUI Grow Thread
I was fortunate enough to win some LUI seeds from the first crossword contest. Thanks again Dutchgrown, you are such a sweetheart.
Description: The "Legends Ultimate Indica" is a combination of our two most favorite indica's. This F1 hybrid was mothered by a previously unreleased Ortega plant from California. The Ortega's heavy indica traits shone through with its' tight buds and extremely stoney finish. The father, a second backcross Sweet Tooth from Spice of Life Seeds, adds the sweet and pungent flavor Breeder Steve strains are know for. She is a heavy yielder that won't disappoint. Flowering Time: 7 to 8 weeks I planted 6 of the 15 seeds in the pack. It has been a couple days and am starting to see some sprouts. This is going to be an interesting grow for me.

I love lui
easy to grow and solid stinkin buds are your reward, however I would revise the flowering times to 8-9 weeks, well worth the extra wait/weight. the hash from lui induces this state---->

Hello Red
, csfraziel , kov and trichomefarmer .Welcome to my little LUI grow thread, I hope you all enjoy it. kov - Don't mind you dropping in at all....the more the merrier! Trichomefarmer - Thanks for the tip about letting it run a little later than 7 weeks...I usually harvest at 60 days for most indicas....the last week I have my trusty magnifier out for a closer look. Here is a pic from today. looks like 5 of the 6 sprouted.

The LUI are growing up.
I put them under my 400w metal halides to see how they like it this young.....I think they like it. I dug up the seed that didn't germinate...found a tiny little worm on the seed. Probably from the worm castings I add to my seedling soil. I don't think I will be adding any more worm castings to my soiless seedling mix. I have had lower percentages lately with seed germinations, now I know why.

i agree with trichomefarmer about the extra couple of weeks. I find they seem to get a bit heavier and gland production is better given the extra weeks. Make sure you flush it good at the end and You'll have some tasty buds. They perform very well indoors in small spaces too. Here's mine from out back this year.
Here's a shot of a LUI cabinet grow.
