odd leaf problems
I dunno if this is a deffiency or what... its nycd, in a scrog under a 400 watt light, flowering for 23 days, its soil (fox farms ocean forest) and watered every 3 days, fed every other wattering with pure blend bloom, (2 teaspoons), the ph is round 6.4 last time i checked, i need to retest tho. under the canopy most of the leaves have fallen off, looking like this.
i added extra n cause i thought it was a n deff. today i found leaves above or at the canopy level(quite a few but not a whole lot) looking like this and this the leaves dont realy feel abnormal, they arnt brittle or anything. any ideas what it could be? thanks, AlexS |

Did you check your pH yet? Do you have a pic of the whole plant or setup by chance?

I mentioned the pH cause you said you wanted to retest. How often are you watering? How close is the light? Are you in a bed or pots?

hey there alex nice scrog d00d...i think the plants look good, definitely some nice cola formation and the chicken wire is a good idea...i try to have the solution at 5.8-6.0 when i water the plants in my sunshine mix so u could lower the pH a little i guess...in all honesty though i think u just have what i call 'scrog fan leaf syndrome' where the fan leaves get caught up in the jumble that is the scrog and just yellow out as they get stifled...i wouldn't be worried about it especially because the growth tips are not being affected...going through and removing especially big fan leaves at this stage would improve circulation throughout the canopy and eliminate the possibility of one of those nasty fan leaves getting powdery mildew on it after it dies or something and then all of a sudden the PM gets a hold and that would suck...not saying that will happen i've just found that superflous under-screen fan leaves are usually viewed by me as potential trouble in my scrog...can't wait to see that phatty NYCD finish man

hey there alexanders, P.D.N.Y. is right . Thin your bitches out. I start at the bottom of the plant and uniformly remove leaves and little buds . Usually about 8" up works on my screen setup. Also easy on the nutes. Some minerial matrix is my solution for most defs. good luck
