Grape Krush, to top or not?
Hi,
I have 5 grape Krushes 3 weeks in veg. They are around 30cm tall. To keep the plants in more manageable single cola form, I have been pruning the lower branches as they appear. I have been wondering how the Grape Krush handles topping. Should I top them or not? |

Whatever way you decide to go the GK's do not stretch very much at all. If you top them you will have to give the side branches time to grow or your yield will suffer. As you can see from below, I topped mine and they turned out fine, however, they only stretched 8 inches after I switched the lights to 12/12. Enjoy your GK, it is marvelous smoke.

Ok, thanks for the info. I topped them yesterday and decided to let them stretch for 2 weeks before turning the lights into 12/12. How long did you keep them in flowering?
The "krushed" sun leaves look pretty weird but they are growing just fine.

I'd definately reccomend topping the GK.It will help the yield as well.
Yeah,the mutant leaves are normal.Sometimes it goes away when you flower. JLP |

yes but pinching or breaking the top shoot has always worked better with grape crush for me. \Good luck
