hey all

for u MMAR growers

can u start growing the day your doc signs your applications and you mail them? or do you have to wait the however many weeks, months, it takes Health Canada to send you your card?

also how are most of you plant restricted growers growing? i see on urban grower many run vertical lights to grow trees to take advantage of low plant counts . i have 4kw (for now) and 25 plants . would it be better to run 6 plants per light horizontal or vertical?? thx

Funny that you ask this question as I asked the very same question to a member on a different forum. I have a hard time believing a tribunal would find you guilty of any wrong doing. But you could be faced with all the bullsh!t inbetween before making it to trial.(bail, lost of crop,lost of equipment).
So I called HC, to hear it from them, they told me I'd be breaking the laws. So I'm waiting...
As for your lights, that's all personal prefrence...

technically, you should wait till you get the permit card and forms.

Personally I would feel better having the card and permit. When I had the cops in, they went directly to the permits, and then started counting my plants

agreed..it makes sense.. I am getting full electrical certification, and have installed fire code drywall throughout..as you showed us in your thread, it's the municipality that wants to see that all things, including permit, wiring and fire code construction are in place. I encourage all MMAR permitees to get rid of the black and white plastic and get some drywall in there. It is tough finding an electrician to do the work, but not impossible. I sleep better knowing the supply to my patient will not be interrupted due to code violations.

I have a MMAR grow and I didn't start until the papers came in.

Why fuck up what you worked so hard to get?

yup even if it is legal, why go through all the drama of having everything ripped out just to get a "sorry our bad"

i didnt care, as soon as doc signed i was building then growing. hc will always back their sick and entitled applicants in court, it was worth the "risk" to me, d

Trust Hellth Canada for nothing. They are you typical bureaucrats and screw up all the time. The difference in waiting time is nothing compared to if you don't and have a visit.

You ain't legal until you have the paper work in your hands.

you have to expose your papper in your grow room , for any visitor !

so i think if you don't have your papper , i can't really grow ...

yes your papper is sign all is done ... but your permit is not in your grow room.

for sure if it was my sitiuation , i'll grow right now

juste be d-low , for the cops or an other
