Willie Nelson up and running
Willie Nelson is an F1 hybrid between Vietnamese and Highland Nepalese. This was bred specifically for the man it's named after, a good ol boy who likes old school sativas, so we combined the best of old school and new school to create Willie Nelson. You'll be singing along to an old Willie song in about 10 weeks. Finishes quick outdoors for a strong sativa, and has good mold resistance. Good yield, sweet and sour taste, extra cerebral in effect.
Right on! I got 7 Willies to pop from this old pack of beans...hope they turn out as good as Tex's. BM |

It looks like off to a great start BlueM
They are some real stretchers but respond well to supercropping to control hieght. 85 days is the minimum in my book but she's even better at 110-120 days. I think the Vietnamese parentage is Vietnamese Black Good growing Tex |

Willie Nelson
Well it has been a while....my how time flies...I was able to grow these up to about 10 inches and then had to go on a job out of town for...well too long..anyway... I needed to get a clone from each fast so I ended up basically taking off the top 6 inches of each plant for a clone and then put the four inch “stumps” into a few 2 gal pots and into the flower room...had to have the caretaker chop the males and I ended up with 3 females out of the 7 seeds that germinated ...plants 3, 5 and 7. Holy shit did two of these things get big buds... plants 3 and 5 STRETCHED probably 36 in. tall now(from 4 in. stumps) with some very nice thick colas forming up and still pumping out fresh calyxs and pistils at 7 weeks 12/12 Plant 7 is a much shorter and bushy specimen... it has more colas but they are not as well developed as number 3 or 5’s. The all smell nice...next 3-4 weeks should be interesting. All 3 clones are doing well. Will try to get some pics up soon! Stay safe BM |

Willie Nelson,
These grow well outdoors? Opinions from WN growers? I'm planning a seed grow for next season, last season's clone grow was quite successful. |
