Chem Haze Sour Diesel Grow
Figured i'd throw up a thread; finally growing some icmag beans instead of clones for a change. These are the first beans i picked up from the bay; this last May actually.
I had 7 crack and 3 were females. This is the lovely lady i'll be playing with for this run. She was topped, cloned, grown out, cloned again. I did a rather crappy test run as the plants started outside and then went into a tent inside my garage where white flies found them among other things. Regardless i was able to get a feel for the pheno and its smoke and nug structure. It out performed the other pheno that just reeks in veg so glad i did that test run. I didn't have a very good camera back then so these are the only pictures i could find. After that I decided to give em a run in my under current system. Its 6 8gal sites in a recirculating shallow water culture. I only had a few clones to choose from at the time as i thought i'd be running the stinky pheno but i managed to fill up the system with some rooted cuts from my ez-cloner on the 27th of December. The under current is illuminated by a galaxy 1k select-a-watt digital ballast in a magnum 6" hood on a lightrail 3.5 mover. The under current unit is plumbed to a 200gal ro unit on the wall. The select a watt feature was nice as i was able to dial up the bulb intensity as the clones matured without stressing them. This clone, however, never took... To avoid this in the future i have a veg solution i'm working on for the under current system. But that's for another thread. Here they are 19 days later on the 15th of this month. And to give you an idea of how fast plants grow in the under current once they get their sea legs here they are 5 days later. Today they got flipped to 12/12... the res was drained and new nutes added; oh yeah before i forget i'm using the dutch master gold line nutes; i basically add about 30ml at a time many times so i don't shock the plants nearest the epicenter... 5x for a, 5x for b, and 2x for the add .27... i'll be playing around with it to get the ppms where i want it but the plants don't seem to mind. I'm running the water level about 2 inches down from the top of the net pots and it tops off with fresh r.o. water. The system is 7 8 gallon buckets; one bucket is a control center and the rest hold 8" netpots filled with hydroton. The room is sealed running at 85f and 1500ppm controlled by a sentinel chhc-1 and it's a legal medical grow. Questions are always welcome; i'll be updating of course.

opt1c, bad ass set-up! I'm glad I found this one early.
I still can't get over how fast the Undercurrent gets things growing. I may have to get one and test it out someday... H |

current culture makes it; it's an under current 6xl
yup; i have a really nice oceanic 1/4hp chiller set at 68f.. the pump for the undercurrent feeds right into the chiller so no separate pump is needed.. i run a sealed room at 85 so without chillers bad things happen Quote:
Switching the bulb to hps tonight.
