HASHBERRY
Hello Everyone!
We are delighted to introduce our new indica HASHBERRY at only 15,- Euros/10 Deluxe seeds. The seeds are available at Seedbay, and should be listed at the Seed Boutique soon as well. You will find a regularly updated photo gallery at our website, where new pics will be uploaded over the coming months in a kind of "live coverage" of some grows. I am sure some of you will be curious about the outdoor performance as well. Generally, we recommend this strain for the balcony and greenhouse if you are further north than the 45° latitude. The main reason for this is the bad weather that hits most northern locations as early as August-September. If you live in a place with a mild/dry autumn, or if its the summer of the century - then, of course, you can grow Hashberry in the ground with good results. If you have any questions to this strain I will be glad to help. Type: mostly indica Landrace genetics from: North India (Kashmir) Cultivation: indoor/outdoor (up to 45° latitude, balcony, greenhouse) Light: 400 W/m2 Flowering time: 60-65 days/September - 1. week October Yield: 400-450 gr/m2 (dry weight) High: the classic chill-out weed, an expansive indica stone with a powerful high that sets in with the first lungfull of smoke, the buzz is first light-headed and very balanced before switching to a stronger body orientated phase towards the end of your flight. HASHBERRY With this exceptional new strain we are building upon our successful breeding lines to offer growers an indica that combines the best of many traits. Hashberry is the unique result from a rigorous selection of desirable parents, with special attention paid to preserve the hybrid vigor our strains are so valued for. This indica will grow to a medium height and is a good choice where space matters and excellent for SOG. Hashberry develops a tight and heavy head bud with dense buds located on her firm side shoots. You will notice that many plants cover the bud leaves with a coat of THC glands and these will fill your pollinator/bubble bags generously. This strain still remains easy to manicure, and the dried buds have great “bag appeal”. The buds reveal a refreshing fruity-floral scent during the flowering period. After proper drying, maturation & storage their fragrance transforms into a delicious hashy-berry like aroma. Hashberry not only has hybrid vigor, but is also very heat resistant and easy to grow. We recommend keeping humidity levels and watering low during the last 2 weeks of flowering to prevent any mold in the compact top buds.

The second pic shows young plants grown from seed in the 3. week of flowering. They are grown in pots of 10-20 Liters (2.6 - 5.3 gallons) in good horticultural grade soil. As you can see, you can SOG this strain even from seed. If you grow mother plants for cuttings you obviously have to prune your plants. So that is not a problem at all for Hashberry. The bottom shoots will take over the command and grow vigorously since you are giving the mothers plenty of light. Also plants given a generous vegetative period can be pruned if you wish. Although I am not sure this has any positive effect on yield. It would actually make more sense to prune them if you put them into the ground outdoors where they get really big and bushy without too much height (for incognito grows). In case you want to grow particularly short plants or decrease overall time from seed to weed, you can put Hashberry into flowering at 20cm/8+ inches. Now this can be done if you are using at least 400W/m2 to support decent growth. Under these circumstances I would not recommend pruning the top because the plant would not have enough time to develop the kind of shoots you are aiming for and yield would be less. Hashberry puts in good flowering potential in the top bud. She isn't lanky. So you would effectively be removing the main reason why you are growing this plant! Well, I hope this info has answered your questions... and thanks for your interest! Mike

Here's an update with those fresh pics I was mentioning. They will be going into our online gallery as well. But here at ICMag you are getting a sneak preview.
17 days flowering Strong stems, large leaves, quick growth are typical traits of hybrid vigor in Mandala strains like Hashberry. The fruity-berry aroma can be smelled by gently rubbing the sticky leaves. Good resin development starts early in this strain: 3 weeks flowering. Firm and robust shoots can be expected from this vigorous indica. Crystal cola developing at 3 weeks flowering Group photo of young females A young female plant

Nice looking plant Mike. Have you noticed any medicinal properties for it?

It's too early to say. This strain is still in the testing phase for medicinal value.
Why? Do you have any ailment?
