I gave 20 reeferman SD to a friend to grow for me. They turned out unexpectedly very Indica in size and flower. I don't think a single one went over 60 days.
They were given a significant amount of Veg time, I think a month at least. They yeilded very well also. Some over 3oz. The herb itself was anything but Sour Diesel. Not that it was bad, quite the opposite. It was very potent, great bag appeal. It just wasn't the Diesel. I read that Reef's SD was Rez's SD 2.5 x Kush IBL....If this is true, than it explains my experience with it very well. All in all, Reefs SD is great weed, yeilds real well and flowers fast. However if your are really looking for Sour Diesel I have to go with Reservoir Seeds. Nothing compares IMHO. |

we just finished growing 3 of reefs strains... sour diesel, willijuna , and asia girl.. my opinion... save your money and buy seeds elsewhere... the nirvana jock horror which we grew along side reef;s 'kicked-ass'... not even close.
not that reef's strains were lousy, but for the $$$ he gets for his beans, u can spend 1/10 the price at nirvana and get BETTER beans.. also reef;s germination/ratio male to female sux'd |

Thats not the experience I had with Nirvana beans. There good for beginners but for quality genetics I'd stick with Reeferman.

i have grown a few different nirvana strains and all have been pretty good.
i would say except for the jock horror (which was excellent), reef's seeds were as good as nirvana's... but being 3x 4x, 5x more expensive a pack, it should be vastly superior to nirvana ... and it is not... this is my expereince... yours is different... peace... |
