i am starting a thread for the search for the best ever haze

ive started with 2 of the best ive ever tried
nevils haze hands down the strongest craziest haze ive ever smoked

nl5haze(sensi seeds new batch from a few years back) i had a very special nl5haze i poped from seeds years back(around 2000) and it was 1 of the best ive had from over 100's of diferent hazes

ive also poped some sam haze x skunk1 i see 1 grow thread of it and it looked crazy,read reports its some mad strong haze and sam was the guy who brought the haze to holland(wasnt he)so it must be good i can get them to crack

after a soak and put i9n tissue for 24-48 prety much all the nevils and nl5haze have popped

the sams haze x skunk 1 is alot slower to pop at forst didnt look good but i got 3 to pop with small tails and 2-3 more look like they are cracking

so i will be selecting the best females and males(for my breeding projects not for f2's)and am hoping to find some of the best haze there is

i got 3 diferent people work with the haze so lets see who is the king of haze

shanti/nevil
ben and alan dronkers(lol)but i shouldnt laugh as nevil made prety much all of sensi haze(but who knows how well they have maintained the haze over the years)
sam the skunkman

anyway this is going to be alot of fun for me and all you haze fans

i will be growing these 12/12 fro seed once they are a week or 2 old from potting

I have two hazeXsk's phenos from sam going right now, maybe they are good, time will tell (I'm at week one of 12/12 right now).

Hi OJD hope life is good 4 u....I have to agree about the Nev and the NL5H...The NL5H(13 week pheno) I had in the early 90's was the best Hybrid I have ever grown, I hope u can still find similar in the recent pips....Last sensi ones I tried didn't germ....I had some f3's from the 90's but they wont sprout either...Gutted! I have a great Sam OH x Sk1 mum already but didn't get a good boy out of it unfortunately..Good luck Pheno hunting! JBo;]

yeah nl5haze for sure was very special

i brought my seeds around 99-2000 and found some amazing things

hopefully these nl5haze(2008) have still got all the pheno's intact

OJD, you said that the best haze is SSSDH, So I bought your gear and I am growing it out. But now you are in search of something better?
How can this be?

i have 3 females started 12/12 from seed.
this one on photo look's to be fastest pheno and biggest yielder.I think I have another pheno of that kind.
Second pheno is lookin more on o.haze side....long branches,stretching for +5 weeks and lower yielder....but must wait +5weeks to see the end results

my personal favourite is the sssdh
nothing beats it
it has everything you want

the nicest haze flavour
potency that leaves people sweating(for real)
big yield
to me sssdh is the perfect haze

hands down my favourite strain ever

but you cant have 1 strain that is the best

tom me nevils haze blows the potency of sssdh away but is not as good on other factors
flowers very long(but worth the wait)
i prefer the sssdh taste aswell(nevil haze is vert tasty but sssdh is beter)

but for sheer sativa potency i cant recomend a stronger haze than nevils haze

nl5haze has other qualitys
mad piney hazey flavour
great sativa high with added body(unlike nevil haze)
huge yields on vertain pheno's

so ronley you see my point
there is alot of haze
not just 1 pheno
and these variety's capture the diferent essence of haze that cant be found in 1 haze only

in my opinion sssdhis up there with the best ever haze and haze hybrids made

PS THE HAZE BROTHERS ARE THE KINGS OF HAZE UNDISPUTED IMO
And without SamS we would never have heard of it........Whatever BS you hear from others is just BS! Many of us remember a time before these people started making up their HAZE stories... :whistling:

i give mad respect for sam spreading the haze but did he make it or was it just 2 guys and he got ahold of the seeds

in my opinion nevil is the king of haze not sam
sam brought it over here

but who has done all the haze work over the years
who made nl5haze
whio selected ssh nevil haze
who made the haze so famous that everyone has heard of the haze
not the haze brothers (if there aare even haze brothers)
to me it sounds like the haze brothers or whoever they were just had sativas and crossed them every year no breeding programs or anything,so was luck that it wnet well

nevil was doing some big selections and selected the best hazes ive ever smoked

sam has done great work in spreading the haze but then nevil really made haze what it is today

also mad respect goes out to shantibaba for the hazes we know today

this is a touchy subject for real but i have respect for reveryone involved in the haze and keeping it aloive and sporeading it

but to me you cant beat the real king of cannabis nevil

The SSSDH sounds like a real winner, a "dream plant" hehe. I have to get me some beans of that. I'll post some pics of the HzXSk#1's in about two hours (lights off right now). They have somewhat broad leaves, both of them. Colombian/skunk pheno i guess.
