see, I look at them differently...

ive had that "gut" feeling that maybe they are what they claim to be, straight from the gardens of yesteryears farmers.

for the price, they arent much of a risk. I have nothing against hobby-style breeding either, so long as it done with care (im no hypocrite, but I do make my own seeds, too ).

I picked up N. Cal Shelter Cove x CSC Garys Strain last week. After talking with the breeder, here's what I know....CSC is the "base" indica used, and afaik, is related to his BCO indica as well.

anyhow, the CSC is crosses to a skunk sometime back, and then bred back into the CSC, or thats my understanding.

so, if true, it should certainly provide a cool window into the ganja of the past, or so Im hoping. I seriously doubt its any more amateur than at least a handful of "hyped" breeders available on the Boo/Bay....

got my pack of the nor cal shelter cove x garys, except the bottom of the plastic bag had ripped out, and most of the seeds were missing.

there were two in the bag. two. upon close inspection, two more were found in portions of the tape installed by seedbay staff in the packing dept. so, thats a total of 4/10 seeds that made it to me because of the bag being split along the bottom seam.

im a little disappointed. oh well....

thanks for the interest these seeds are just what i say they are i've had them in some cases since the sixtys and i am a old surfer slash grower who never tryed to get rich off weed i saw to many people lose everything they had trying to get more and more some of the strains like garys are from x cali people or people who are still there and as far as being a ametuer grower ive supplied my friends with seeds for 30 plus years and safe guarded the ones that i really liked wheither mine or someone else im sorry if because i can get my ego in the same room and it bothers you who run around sticking feathers in your hats sorry been there i did not like it i have given my seeds to different med groups anonomously for years only to see them sold and after talking to gypsy and dog boy and i never know who i am talking to i sent a bunch of seeds to be given to the needy some were and some were bagged that was my first offering on e-bay and if you do not like the history of cali and oregon maybe you were part of the problem and still are all we are doing is playing with plants that people long dead did most of the work already for us and if you think like you invented better guess agian they found a 3,000 year old body with pot in the bag it was tested and found to be as good as our supposed new works if you look at the real history of our planet you will see that 30,000 years ago we had a world wide trading economy and many wonderful and misterious things have happened since then they have found trading stones at the head of the amazon and all over the world history is written by the victors or survivers of our lack of restrain and i was around books all my life and traveled chasing pleasures and fish and waves 2 of the real people who were the primary breeder in humbold were killed one in a car wreck one by some greedy jamacians who did not want to pay for the clones or his finished product a bullet was cheaper i was in humbolt when it went to shit after the old sherriff was killed by a retard at a trailer family despute he was a old family friend and protected the growers as long as they did not bring in hard drugs to sell he did not even carry a gun and after his death reagon tookover law inforcement in humbolt and then do not forget i think it was life mag laying open the emerald thriangle in a story so if you think i was not there or because i am giving more value for your money than you are used to maybe i come from a different time than the drug yuppies and am just tired of hearing a bunch of bs about how they discovered the world was not flat its about how we treat each other to me not what you got i worked my whole life and grew never tried to get big but a few times and had nothing but trouble from the success's and excess's that it brought i left cali and do not miss it and all the people who ran to europe because they were being persacuted in their own minds i pity you freedom is in your mind its not a location and i do not care about much of what has gone on in the commercialization of drugs i was around for the brotherhood and saw to many people rat on each other glad i was banging nails then and making money that was mine so if i am not impressed maybe i have seen to many brain dead or real dead or locked up for ever friends who thought life was a game and they were peter pan sorry i grew up and raised a family i am not a rich person except in my friendships and my lifes exsperiance hard to tell i went to college the way i spell but i used a typing service and a taperecorder to free up my personal time and my gramatical essays suffer for it so what i say is how it was for me and the real people who were there not the people who came after looking for riches with out working boy did they find out growing is work even if its just digging holes i am a very private person and if it was not for the help of old pink and dogboy i would not have a listing here or anywhere and here is all i am doing if it goes farther it will be by their efforts i do not plan on taking over the world anytime soon i am just sharing the past and doing a little future mixing to give people a economical choice i do not sell bad or weak seeds i harvest and hand squeese each one and if it a good seed it will survive if not it will be mush its about quaility not volume and passing on some of the joy i have found in my life aloha classsic seeds
