Daze

Originally I promised to do a grow report on Fairlight's Daze but, well, life got in the way. So best I can do is a post harvest smoke report... Hope I get this right, my first time doing this.
The plant itself was easy to grow very much like NLXHaze, yield was above average. It almost outperformed my Skunks. Flowered 73 days, soil & organic nutes.

FINAL COMMENTS:

All in all a very good, uplifting and functional daytime smoke.
It definitely excels in the taste department.
Trich coverage is awesome too, and can't complain about the yield.
It's my current wake and bake stash.
I'm gonna keep this one around.
Maybe I can do that promised grow report when I get a go at her the next time round.

I probably should add that after a longer cure it becomes a little more mellow and better suited to chill in the evenings.
It's kinda funny that when I open the Daze jar no one wants to even look at my other stuff, they'll all go: 'Dude, let's smoke that!'

How do you compare this high to Fairlight's C99? Any info on the mysterious breeder Fairlight and any of his/her documentation on selection, strains etc? Seems like his/her strains are some of the best deals going around.

The Daze is gentler and lasts longer, the C99 hits faster and a bit harder, can be a bit overwhelming. The Daze makes me 'Zen' the C99 incapacitates me with bliss.

Great report HT. Just got a pack of these as freebies. Bubblegum Haze sounds excellent. Strawberry flavored at that. Can't wait for some room to start these. Thanks Fairlight

I grew these same seeds. Mine were grown from seed, and I bloomed them way longer in a cold environment - 95 days on the first of 7 to come down.
BUT!!
Smoking this, after dry and cured for a day or 3, is much like smoking bubble.Hash. Tastes like hash, with a hint of muddy strawberries.

It truly, truly blows every Elite Clone i've grown, out of the water.
It destroys Schrom, Sweet Skunk, Tangerine Haze, Cheese, Catpiss, Jack's Cleaner, etc.
I am very very glad to have some clones of this many seeds and soon, some very devastating hashish.

The bud's were huge, large, thick. hard as steel pipe. also they were black/purple, with some pink. Very tasty, very strong. A+++

Won't leave my garden, ever

Thanks for the smoke report HT and for everyone's replies. I purchased, and am germing Fairlight's C-99 and I have read nothing but good things about this person and their strain(s) so hopefully I will pick up a pack of these ASAP. This and the Item 9 both sound like things I need
