lack of jobs in Calif. - mj retribution

Just a sneaking suspicion.
Is this in the line of conspiracy theories? Or is it possible that the lack of work (jobs) in California is some type of backlash against the people that has been instigated by both the federal and state governments as retaliation against the will of the people to allow MMJ and possible future recreational usage?
Any thoughts?

The question - do you think that the lack of work/high unemployment rates even after the "Stimulus" is due to the government holding back the monies that were to go toward rebuilding the workforce as retaliation for the people's choice to allow mj usage and a warning against voting for the 2010 ballot initiatives?

Wasn't cali the near bankrupt state? Remember hearing Terminator talking about it. And I can remember an interview on the DailyShow with the head of civil transportation or whatever. He was talking about railways, but I can't remember wich states got connected first. But he wasn't talking about cali so... no jobs?

I mean, jobs don't just pop up. First, the work has to come to the state... right? Just money means nothing...

greez from far away, switzerland

PS: Don't know how many layoffs you got in the last year, so I really have no idea how strong the "workforce" in cali is right know. I mean, less/not enough policemen, firefighters and stuff like that? Really?
