Has anyone else noticed that the Olympic torch looks vastly similar

The resemblance is uncanny. I saw it in person and that's exactly what went through my head too. Hilarious.

Na, same story in Ontario...

Yeah, I saw it too and was disappointed. For such a "green" olympics, they were using the sootiest fuel imaginable. After only 100 meters the top of the torch was solid black.

I also thought they actually ran it from town to town...not so. Oh well.

It a big party for the elite, the lower mainland might do okay by it. Meanwhile the rest of us will pick up the bill for years to come.
