What Dispensaries would you warn other patients to stay away from? There are a lot of business that are just in this for the money and not here to truly help out patients and help the cannabis cause. Please put in your thoughts.


I'll refrain from adding any to the list but if anyone else calls them out, I'll chime in.

Any dispensary that is pro-moratorium is anti-competition and anti-compassion.

Feel it out.
Stay away from small shady operations. Places like Little Brown House, Walking Raven, and many others have poor selection and terrible prices.
C.A.M and The Healing House are professional and friendly.

The shady stuff I was talking about would be:

Selling patients information to growers without patients knowledge.

Selling clones infected with bugs or powdery mildew.

Purposely lying to patients to about how meds were grown.

Places that only purchase thier meds from commercial vendors but claim to grow thier own.

Setting a bad example to the communities they are doing business in by setting up shop in areas that cause undue community stress or public outcry (ie: next to schools).

Selling to people that arent patients.

I suggest anyone that carries around thier dr paperwork to scribble out all important info like ssn#.

anywhere the russians are.
although cannamart did beat the city. and that does set good example for the community.
Patients Choice is top notch. and very professional.

Not a dispensary but Greenway University is a despicable organization:

It sucks when criminals get into providing honest patients their medicine under the guise of medical marijuana! This is unacceptable, yet the lack of proper regulation allows seedy fucks to take advantage of sick people... Not a good look! I don't live in a med-state, but used to... And that state's medical laws were one of the better ones in the country too, it didn't allow loopholes and provided a proper system for patients to be provided with their medication... It's obvious if you look at my handle, and you'd know what state it was...

Moonshine, man, this is a great thread for patients in CO... Props for posting it, and then staying out of it, thus removing subjectivity... JAH Bless

Thanks EugeneGreen. Also appreciate the input from the rest of ya'll.

There is talk of regulation that will create a new division of the state government that deals with medical marijuana within the state as opposed to just rewriting all the exsisting proposed bills. The talk is to create a Dept that only anwsers to the governor and patients and will keep bipartisan BS out of the patients business. There will be a licensing dept, a review board made up of Doctors and Regulatory/Certification/ethics dept.

People growing for with less than 5k worth of lights will pay no extra fees but for anything overthat (God, I hate commercial) there is a perlight charge. Pay to Play. Dispensaries will pay 1K per year to have thier busisness but with that you are allowed to grow and possess for up to 200 patients. WHOO HOO!.

They will create an indegent (sp) program for those who are financially arent able to pay for meds and also redo the stupid paper cards, replacing them with plastic credit card style cards. One of the big proposals is to redo the licensing dept so that you are GAURENTEED to get your card back in 60 days or less.

Its a crazy time right now in the medical community. Make sure if your a patient your voice is heard. Send an email to your senator, house rep or distirct rep and tell them you are a patient and want your rights as a patient protected.

Pain Management of Colorado just joined my shit list:

Dispensary owner Miles Zalkin says the city's new rules mean legitimate operations, that help patients suffering from cancer, will stay in business.

"We're hoping that these types of deterrents will take people that shouldn't be in this business that are in it and knock them out when they go to apply for their license, which all of us are going to have to apply for,"

Stay away from Cannamed on 7th and Kalamath. Seedy and crime-funded, they overcharge for their medicine and try to sell you a b.s. certificate that means absolutely nothing.
