Happy growing to each and all in 2018 and onwards |

That's why i prefer current Golden Tiger releases, they have stronger desirable thai influence, the terpene profile is much better than the original F1 release, yet still keeps the good indoor adaptability, huge yields, extreme potency and the type of effects i seek in the breeding of Golden Tiger. Overall, Golden Tiger clones very easily, especially the thai phenos, along with our pure thais and pure hazes, they are the easiest parental plants to clone from our genetic library. The breeding potential of Malawi is amazing and has been widely explored after so many years producing Malawi hybrids .... Malawi always adds lots of vigor, yield, very high resin production and very strong potency to its hybrids, just need to be careful when doing Malawi outcrosses, to make sure they have an improved terpene profile. We have produced Malawi hybrids that really keep the most extreme Malawi potency and effects like Malawi x Panama, Zamaldelica fem or Golden Tiger. We also have produced very successful and strong Malawi sativa/indica hybrids like Malawi x PCK which really has an outstanding terpene profile and a very deep, strong and long lasting effect for a PCK hybrid. And finally we also have produced Malawi x sativa hybrids that have very good potency but without Malawi's heaviness, that's the case of Purple Haze x Malawi, which has a great uplifting, clear and well focused effect. I have in mind to produce in the future a pure thai release, and a very thai hybrid bred with different thai strains. I think the best potential of the Honduras sativa regarding effect is the super clean and uplifting qualities of its effect, that's why my main preferences are to cross her with other interesting sativas with similar clean and uplifting qualities like Haze, Tikal, etc .... Honduras also has the potential to produce very high yielding hybrids, and the purple Honduras pheno has very interesting qualities regarding colors and terpenes that must be further explored. But i think this a story for the honduras thread. ![]() Thanks for your kind words, it's always a pleasure to come here to talk with all of you about our beloved plant.

Greetings Dubi,
Your willingness to discuss your work makes you a special among your peers, Dubi. I always appreciate your insight and wisdom, and I'm sure the group of gardeners here at ACE forum do also. That information regarding the tendencies of Malawi when it is used in crosses is interesting and insightful. Helpful info indeed into understanding where some of GT power comes from, and what important role Thai plays in the cross.Malawi is a Very strong plant and a very useful tool in breeding when used correctly, as we all experience in crosses like golden tiger and zamaldelica. I have the green haze Malawi I plan to use soon, I like the clear side of haze genetics. I know there are stories/legends that makes purple haze popular, but I am less influenced by legends I suppose. I greatly look forward to your future work in the honduras crosses & Thai poly hybrids. It may be annoying to have to listen to someone tug at your coat tails over the years regarding Thai hybrids, I apologize haha. It is a special grpup of plants in my experience, it can add very interesting things to cannbis taste, effect, etc. Very fun to explore. You have very nice thai genetics, and you do a wonderful job sharing them with the growers community. Thank you to you and your team for this always. ![]() Nc

Sorry for the delay in the reply. I won't pay much attention to seeds coming from a hermie plant, especially if you are growing small number of plants, as they have higher chances to produce offspring with hermie tendencies again. You must be consistent and careful to provide your plants stable and proper conditions in flowering, especially with sativas with longer flowering times, without exceed with the feeding. Please, send me a private message and i will replace you the hermie seed with a new Golden Tiger fem seed, i think the fem version will be easier to grow for you. Best regards! |

![]() Glad you found a thai pheno of your taste, your description of the effect is very close to the effects of the Koh Chang Thai used in the breeding of Golden Tiger. Sorry i didn't understand the last part of your post: perhaps euphoria is hidden in the cobbed version? |
