Outdoor Strains
hi all
so im thinking of trying 1 or 2 plants outdoors this year, i have some candidates in mind but id like to know from experienced growers what strains grow and finish here. thanks |

Avoid autos anyway. You will get bugger all yield off them. Lucky at a 1/8th per plant outdoors in our climate.
Have a look at the danish subforums. There a similar latitude than us and look what they can achieve. Ill be using Danish genetics this year and will run a diary on here. Also thinking of some Canadian genetics. Got Royal Dane, Typhoon and some shortryder for indoors coming my way. |

Santa popped a couple of pkts of Royaal Dane in my stocking this year.
What way are you starting them off Rory? Will be starting my lot under lights at the end of feb then greenhouse for a few weeks before planting out. |

Id be dubious of that iranian short season, sounds to good to be true, and I can only find a few growers talking about it online. All sites seem to have the same chap from sligo claiming a July harvest, and that he was given the seeds as a gift forr doing some labouring in Manchester. Sounds like balls to me.
Ill be starting the seeds in a tunnell in march and then moving them to location early May. Faebuary seems very early, are you going to sex and take cuttinggs, doesnt sound like that bad of an idea... |
