Here's a dilemma for you to consider. I grew out Ak48, bubblelicious and strawberry bubba kush under two 400 watt lamps(HPS and MH). I only used the Fox Farm liquids with my organic soil. My three strains came out great with great smoke. Looking to improve I lined the closet with reflective insulation for better light penetration, and purchased the fox farm soluables. I changed my strains to: snow white, blue mystic, and strawberry bubba kush. I used the liquid FF ferts with the soluables per their schedule. This harvest and the buds were not as good as the earlier grow. I admit that the strains changed, except for the strawberry bubba kush, but I had a better product without the Fox farm soluables. I do not have an answer for this dilemma, but next up I may not use the soluables at all. Food for thought. Peace and respect.

don't follow FF feeding schedule when using the soulables, its way too much.
check this IC thread out many things will change your yield and the biggest one is the strain change. your comparing entirely different plants to what you grew out last year if i were to use only one soulable it would be the beatsie bloomz, its the weight packer and if only 2 open sesame i'm backing off on the cha ching because it has so much N in it.

DEFINITELY DO use the 1/4 tsp per gallon recommendation on all solubles.
BUT, I never use the 2 tsp per gallon.....I start with 1 tsp/gal and work up to 1.5 tsp/gal. Fox Farm rocks. I voted for Beastie BLoomz. |
