Hi!

My name is Oscar and i am from Sweden. Me and my wife have been thinking about moving to Canada for over a year now. We have a nice house on the countryside, two dogs. We got jobs, me as a stainless steel tube welder and my wife as an CAD designer. But i feels like we dont belong in this country. We are pro cannabis and have been growing our own cannabis for about 5years now. We are open minded and are tired of living in this nazi country who gets more and more intollerant for each year.
So i have a few questions for the Canadians in this forum.
Is it hard to to move to Canada? Is it possible to find jobs, somewhere to live and so on? We are thinking of save money for a year now, about 15.000CAD and just move, is this possible? Do you get any help when we get there.

The pot laws are not good here either. We are going backwards, instead of making progress. So, don't come here thinking it's all easy growing. yes, there are hoops to jump thru and it's time consuming moving to Canada. Check this out:

Hi!

Im not moving becouse of the pot laws. I like Canada, Canada is like Sweden in the 1970. But Sweden has now becomed a nazi country. And i love the wildernes and great nature.
I want to work, get to know new people and start over. I will never start growing in big style, just for me and my wife, 2plants each month. But here in Sweden you it is a terror to the mind to grow. You are always scared. Some years ago i got 3years in prison for 5plants.

Keep in mind, if you grow and get caught, you're probably going to be sent home...is it worth it? As I said, Canada in many ways is going backwards. Our Government are idiots. Moving here has it's benefits, but it is not an easy process.

You might want to arrange employment before making any move. Jobs in Canada can be hard to come by.You can expect to work for temporary agencies for part or all of the time. Welders can make from $9- $18 dollars an hour. ( 60-120 kro)

Any big city with lots of jobs like Toronto,Vancouver,Calgary are crazy expensive to live in.

The welders I know are all making over 40/hr.If your working in Alberta,a welders helper you can make that or more,shit,you can make more than 18/hr slinging coffee @ Tim Hortons in Ft.McMurry.With you and your wife's skills,you could do really well in the midwest/agriculture industry,it is freaking cold and you don't have to worry about the ridiculously low power consumption cap in B.C .The key is finding an employer that has a hard time finding good help,and they will work with you to get the ball rolling.Just my opinion,Cheers.

Check out www.jobbank.gc.ca you can search all over Canada and compare. Stinkyfgrs is right Alberta has a great job market but also has a higher cost of living. It all depends what you are looking for

Not to be a party pooper... But with a criminal record - you're not going to be getting citizenship... Especially in this day and age and the "war on drugs"

Criminal Record is going to be a bitch for you to get in. But continue to try anyways because if you want it bad enough you might get it. Canada is one of the best places to live in bar none. Just choose the right city wisely...

and with a criminal records for pot...forget about it . in canada our government give priority to muslims and the more radical they are , the easiest it is for them to move here .

call me racist if you want but pointing a religion is not racist .

convert to islam and you will be fine ...
