Best Outdoor strain from reeferman
hello, I grow outdoors near Rochester, Ny on the 43rd parallel. I'm looking for a few strains that will finish from early to mid sept and that are mold resistant. reeferman seems to have some of the best outdoor strains. I have Nigerian Nightmare and i am looking a triple and double aghan slam.
Can anyone list 3-4 of reefs strains that you have had good luck in a similar latitude ? I'm wondering what the difference in grow seasons between say britsh columbia, Holland and New york are ? i think holland is about 50 lat so If a strain such as purple power works in holland it should workj for me no ? I have also heard that Dutch passion has a few good outdoor strains going. such as Passion #1. Thanks for your help, by the way reeferman is the best person to deal with if you have trouble with your order, he and his staff have bend over backwards to make sure the orders arrive and that we are happy with the results. I am growing Burmaberry and nutcruncher right now and they look great. take care, ch |

Hi,
timewarp x headstach works for me at 48°N, also seams to be appropriate at 46°N. In my case it has a big growth, and compared with my other strains who growed in same conditions, it's a bit early to start flowering. But i can't assure it can be close at the time you want to, still in my case i'm just near 2 or 3 weeks of flowering (very, very late in France this season). Take a look to saucisson furtif's grow diary at reeferman own site forums. you'll can see TW x HS is a real outdoor monster A+ |

Im having good success with the Tripple afghan slam and Royal Hawaiian outdoors in the midwest. The TAS should finish around mid to end september and the Royal hawaiian will probly be done by the begining of October. Goodluck with whatever you choose. Peace and *bong*

beautiful, just recieved some nigerian nightmere, and i actually am thinking about ordering a few more good early outdoor strains as well, heard great things bout your strains reef, and i'm at similar latitude in similar location as thread starter
edit: come to think of it, i really had my heart set on purple pineberry, i think a couple of others too that I think are long since sold out.. any word from anyone (hopefully reef) on if/when these other wonderful outdoor varieties will be back? I will def have to make another order quick before the outdoor season.. p.p.s. sorry.. one more question for anyone about the Nigerian nightmare, i see it says its very photo period sensative.. when do you suppose the earliest (at 43N) or just how much light is necsisary to keep the plant vegging.. I want to start it inside, and put it outside early enough to get it the biggest possible, but not early enough to induce flowering.. does it clone well? would chosing a nice mom early, and making a bunch of plants still allow me to get some big girls? sorry for so many rambling questions, thanks for any input. Got 3 Nigerian Nightmares vegging, looking good so far, but does anyone know whether it's one of those early flowering strains (like Early Gold) that need to have the roots restricted (i.e. not planted straight in the ground) for flowering to initiate early?
