That's great. Whatever one finds which suits them best is.....the best.

Shopping for nutes these days is like going into the store looking for shampoo or other cosmetic items.....the shelves are full of them! LOL

Over the years I've tried many....always come back to Canna. (Both hydro and soil)

Love CannaBoost....$$$ ouch!...but it works for me. Use of Canna's Rhizotonic and Cannazyme I find establishes (and maintains) an excellent healthy root system, which, as we all know (or should know) is vital to all stages of growth.

Went from smaller starter pot to 1 gal 10 days previously. As you can see, now the 1 gal (shown below) is quite ready for 3 gal. Prolific white roots is what I like to see! I did not find this to be strain specific, but in general across a wide variety of different strains all being repotted at the same time from having all received the same Canna feedings.


I think we tend to stick with what works best for each one...perhaps there are better nutes than Canna....perhaps....I'm just a proponent of 'if it ain't broke don't fix it'.

H&G is by far less expensive than using the full range of Canna, especially if opting to include CannaBoost in the equation, just a matter of personal preference I guess, and what one feels comfortable in using, and what the specific grower feels works best for them in their situation (enviro).

Over the last few months I've had a fellow grower harp on me about trying canna products...well after seeing this I think I may have to give them a go...

I have been using Canna product for some time and have had nothing but good results from them.

I would really like to hear from people that tried both. I am currently using canna. No problems everything is looking great other than my pocket. But at the same time i dont want to give up on quailty to save a few bucks. Also going "organic" is a main reason for sticking with canna.

Yes yes what DG just said, nutes i will just about use anything these days. canna, H+G likes the heavy folic acid in part B, and a local Hydro Generations because they have it all aNd make nute to suit water, kelp added good coco too. All decent although canna really gives me a golden glow and best veg growth rate.

I only have a couple of H+G grows under my belt though so my mind isnt made up fully,

1st GROW a full H+G range with coco nute. went well compares to a canna grow

2nd grow veg and half flower with H+G aqua mid flower onwards canna range with alot of PK no boost as i already dosed early with H+G boost comparison.

Now its the canna additives that really shine specially rhizotonic, zym i can match with other brands. H+G root excelurator at recommended dose just wasnt as friendly to young roots.

Bio boost and boost are good put pricey, im having heat probs so there is no point using more, i know half my grow is down on weight this round H+G with heat/ vent issues 50% of room.. But this round i will say canna PK is a whole lot better than H+G Bud XL. Just my 2c

with canna down the road waiting for my silly questions, good return service if you suspect product problems (has been a bad batch of rhizo and coco 1 maby twice in 12 years. i feel there the best for me followed by hy-gen same same local then H+G with its few growers to date, maby once all shops have the full range things could change but id still prefure to go into my local grow shop than buy without discount over the net, but i wont get for cost much longer was a trial/ sample grow only.

Shop owner just didnt see the fuss made over this range even the hort dude that does the seed tests or grows for the fron window wasnt overly impressed with what he used(root excelurator) so i wont be seeing anymore of H+G from there atleast.

Cyco Nutes i missed the test boat for this but got samples, i quite liked the nute and root tonic id give this another go..

anyone tried a combination? i was thinking about using some h g base nutes but keeping my rhizo cannazyme and pk....

HG.

Used to use Canna. Very similar but HG came to be less expensive for being virtually the same line.

I only use a few things:

Aqua Flakes A and B
Drip Clean
Top Booster
Bud XL
Amino
I used to use Shooting Powder but I get the same results with MOAB and is significantly cheaper.
I also use Calmag and Bud Candy.

Once I tested one tray to using only Calmag, A, B and Bud Candy and Drip Clean. Still got almost 2.8 units a 1000 gavita 5x5 area.
