Help me find a new camera

Hey everyone, I am looking to get a new camera for myself for a late holiday present. There are some amazing photo pros on here and I would love some advice. I am looking to get into macro photos so any advice on macro lenses would be great too. I would like to spend under a grand. I hope to add some great pics to the forum next season and hopefullly you guys and gals can help me find a winner. Thanks in advance.

Some1here will become famous soon enough
Go to either one of these places and read the reviews of the cameras in your price range.

https://www.adorama.com/

To be honest a good macro lens would cost $600-1000+. And the better the lens, the better photo you get. Pick a camera and lens and google the crap out of them. Read all the reviews from many sites. Hope this helps.

i got a canon g11 based on recs i got from the photo forum; takes great macro pics and only ran me around 500

otherwise look into older models or refurb'd stuff or raise that budget to like 1.5k for a camera with macro lens; most of the expensive ones aren't setup for macro as much and those lens are more expensive than the camera half the time
