Here's "my" pup, Oreo.
I say "my" because he belonged to my friend when he still lived up the road from me.
They moved into town and he lived outside anyways, so they left him to roam the hill, which he has for the past eight years. All day/night. Even on the coldest days he won't come inside, no matter what.

Anytime we fall on our snowboards, he'd lay on top of us and keep us warm.
He also ate a few of the neighbors chickens, which was awesome.

He's getting old, and I can tell his joints aren't feeling good, so that video made me pretty dern sad...

Free to roam. I'm sorry he's getting on poorly but he got to spend his life doing all the things other dogs only dream of. Beautiful dog, btw. Oreo is a great name.

Nice vid. Makes me want a Canon 7D. I never had a dog, always wanted one. Getting one is my first priority when I move to a bigger place.

Damn man,
That video made me tear up something fierce. Good short flick. Right now I have an older beagle (10 or 11), she is the sweetest thing on earth, wouldn't hurt a fly (literally), but she has had almost every medical problem known, almost had to put her down a year ago because of a huge tumor on her leg.

She recovered better than any vet thought, but now she is deaf and slowly going blind..... I know her time is coming, but I can go on knowing that I made her life better than it was before I found her. I rescued her from an abusive home, where she was dehydrated, malnourished and cooped inside for days at a time, then beat for going to the bathroom inside.

Its always tough to see anything you love get old and know that their time is coming, but just know that for at least a short time you made their life that much brighter, and they did the same for you.

Keep on keepin' on Alaskan. Beautiful dog by the way,

The part that got me was when the tatted up dude said he will go see Jesus...and they'll be there soon too..

And at the end when he talks about 'Champ'

Oreo's outside howling at something right now, and I'm about to go give him a hug...
Is it weird that I feel proud that other people think he's looks cool?

Dogs are worthy of love, I never met a human I could say that about..I have a feral cat named Oreo...Oreo(the dog) is adorable, he'll be fine, dogs have strong and pure spirits..I put my Dog(Daisey) Down December 20th of last year(2008), hardest thing I have ever done in my life, she had a tumour closing her esophegus(sp)... dug her grave in the freezing rain..I would never own a dog...she adopted me..I still talk to her.....and she is always in my dreams...
