I'd figure that this question would be best asked in the Women's Forum, whereas I can't expect the same level of maturity in other sub-forums.

It's an idea that I've been tossing about in my head for some time now, and now I propose it to you: am I a bi-sexual male?

I strictly have anecdotal evidence for the former proposition. I militantly avoid crass conversations within my group of friends. If you're genuinely mature enough to help or guide me then please continue reading. My intention is not to offend feminists and by any degree, or the like. I apologize in advance if my queries are inappropriate by any means, whereas that is certainly not my intention.

When viewing pornography I try to only view solo female or female/female films and clips, avoiding penii where possible. However, I know of straight friends of mine who have no qualms with watching male/female penetration I personally find the act of watching a couple's sex acts revolting, whereas I feel like a voyeur.

On several occasions my father has called me "domestic," since I clean up after myself and do dishes therapeutically. Knowing my father, his comment is some backwards remark regarding my sexuality.

So many items are making me question my sexuality. However, as far as I know, I am not attracted to males. But my population of friends, exceeding less than half a dozen, is strictly male.

My hope is that which the provided information or prompts from the women on this sub-forum that I will be able to disambiguate my sexuality.

honestly that is something you have to discover for yourself... but just cause a certain porn turns you off doesn't mean you're not staright... everybody like and dislikes different things, i know girls who puke when they watch anal sex... everybody is different... considering you are looking at mostly female porn i'd say you're straight... if you were really gay i think the thought of watching woman would turn you off. some people just aren;t ok with seeing the same sex naked... some dudes can't change in a locker room

Well you sound like a girl, which is funny because if a girl watching mostly girl girl porn then ya! You might be bi-sexual but probably strait gay. Nah, if you are a dude and not really into a dick being in a flick........then you are probably more strait then most guys but some guys enjoy seeing a girl really get dirty...not that the guy is interesting, it's usually some steroid junkie or other odd thing that doesn't really matter....it's not my girlfriend.

the key isn't what you watch... it's why you watch it? if you're masturbating to girls solo and getting off, then thats what you like. if you're watching girls because they're more beautiful beings, but you don't even get like a semi boner over it, then there's probably other issues. could it be some sort of penis envy/inferiority complex? do you happen to drive a large truck or a very fast car? maybe you just don't want to feel small, so you don't want to look at the huge porn star dicks.

Maybe you just really see a girls point of view or think you do or just very intrigued by woman and kinda see yourself looking through their eyes at guys....which can be gay! can be bi, it really depends on your thoughts and analysis and what you see...not just when watching porn but maybe you really like how you see a girl feel and get jealous.

There is not a lot of analysis on homosexual mind sets, other than gay people and gay supporters are the most easily offended demographic from my own personal experience. Some girls are just into gay guys, I mean like they have nothing else interesting to ponder about!

I am thinking about a movie about club kids and the home alone boy in it, does that movie turn you on?

smart.... maybe it is some feeling of being small deep down....

but girls are more fun to watch anyways... guys in pornos aren't very attractive and some are just down right ugly and creepy looking, and always hairy lol

Well I thought I had your post figured out (to the OP) but now that I re-read it, I realized that you said you are a male. Now I thought that you said you were a female. My bad! Now this gets complicated..I've experimented with another woman, and I'm still on the fence about whether or not I'm bi-sexual lol. That's another thread for another time, I suppose. Back to your question...your sexuality cannot be determined by us, only by you. There is definitely a difference between gender and sex, and that may be a start.

hippie_lettuce has a good point about sex and gender. Sex is the actual physical determination (which can also be ambiguous) while gender refers more to behavioral characteristics.

But get this, there are more behavioral differences among the sexes than between the sexes. That is, females as a group have more variation in behavior than when compared to males and vice versa.

You don't say much about your actual behavior Woodsy. Simply determining what turns you on may answer your question,

Your housekeeping skill and ability to handle conflict have nothing to do with sexuality.

I think most porn is gross so it doesn't surprise me when people don't enjoy film depictions of coitus.

I'd advise therapy to explore the relationship with your father and your interpersonal relationships/skills in general.
