Question for Shantibaba
So before I make my purchase let me get this straight, Black Widow is really your White Widow before you changed your company! So I shouldn't by White widow and Black Widow because they are the same, right? Or r they different?

Because Black Widow is bred by Shanti...the White Widows going around are not(tho they wud have been originally)...Shanti is the one with the original genetics

So what genetics are the others running around with? I went to Overgrow and read the strain guide, 1 person grew BW but there is a shit load of WW reports outthere from various breeders. But I would like a tad more nfo on the difference between original genetics and knockoff. Shanti would u please?

Hi all
there are a load of F1 widow plants going round and being sold as BW or WW clones etc but the father of the widow which is reponsible for the original seed that won it fame is only with us at MNS. I know that GHSco use another since I left in 98, and Ingemar uses yet another and so on...all claim to be the original etc...but if you do some research on grow reports etc you will discover the one you need .All the best Shantibaba

Critical Mass
Shantibaba,
Does MNS still develop Critical Mass? and if not what is your avg highest yielder in the collection now?? you know, the "commercial strain" still well worth smoking.? Good Karma

Hi BB
it is in the selection stages once again the old CM. We selected a new female to fit to the father skunk. It will need to be grown out as F1 before we release it. The reason for this was purely to try and get a stronger flavour in a large flower...we have definitely had the large flowers without a great flavour or with only hints of flavour, we have had almost all the combinations possible. So Nev got a few of the old seed generation that was responsible for the mum. There should be very little if any deviation from the genetics of the plant since the sources are the same. But finding the F1 that can manage better mould problems and add flavour with minor reductions in yield is the purpose. As for weights etc, it is difficult to say since we have used so many mediums and methods. Let me just say that in one test on a medium I refer to as hydro-terra ( due to its 45% make up of perlite, 40% sterilized potting mix, 5% worm castings and 10% coarse river sand sterilized) we had 8 1000 watt lamps with 36 plants of one variety under 1 lamp. All 8 lamps were different varieties all from clone. The top yield was MNS orange bud with 1050grams dried flower and next MNS critical mass with 980 grams. These two were outstanding possibly in that season in that room...the rest of the other 6 lamps performed well but not like those two strains especially grown as a sog. hope that all helps all the best Shantibaba
