Nev's Haze hybrid
Hi ferry and guy and gals, I have a few questions about the Nevs haze hybrid.
1) How long does it need to be vegged barring in mind that I have 6ft of growing height and I have heard it can get a bit stretchy. I have a GF that I vegged for 6 weeks and topped twice, Im thinking the nevs might not respond too well to this. 2) How long does this take to flower? It says on the tin min 10 weeks, is this a bare minimum or will they be harvestable after 10 weeks 12/12. I want it harvested a dried for christmas Cheers |

I think that Randolf, the rednose reindeer, prefers fresh buds, instead of dried buds.
We still have 17 weeks to christmas. 3 weeks for veg, 12 for 12/12 and 2 to dry, so enough time to smoke a fat one with Father Christmas.

cheers ferry, 12 weeks noooo, that so long, luckily I hope to have a stash of grapefruit and widowrella to last me until then.
Do you reckon I could get away with 10 weeks, I have 5 weeks left on my current grow, which leaves me 12 weeks to flower and dry as I only have 2 17Lhydro ebb and flow things. I can veg them in pots with clay pebbles and then transfer with 12 weeks left. Its cutting it fine but its the way it'll have to be I think. They may not be fully finished and a little forced dry but hey if its anything like the nevilles I smoked in the dam recently it'll be top notch. |

Hi today my Neville Haze is eleven weeks olds
The plant is really nice and big. I can't wait a lot more. too many spyder mites. The height wasnt a problem less then 1 meters ( but 1,5 meters wide) The bigest plant I' ve erver grown. |

No big deal, yeild has been better than indicas for the same amount of time, just one harvest instead of 2 or 3. With staggered vegging one could have a harvest in the same time yer Sweet Tooth finished every time. But it ain't fer everyone - some space out and some get paranoid. The nicest Neville's ever smoked never had a tolerance level either - no hung over tiredness the next day and the more you smoked the higher you got. Dunno about new hybrids and Neville's wannabees but when ya find that special mom you will be set for life. |

Well I have 2 that are now 6-7 weeks 12/12 boy these are slow to do anthing on the flower front. They are only 10 weeks from seed and are already 5ft high (well 4 ft but they have been tied down to increase light penetration) and pretty bushy as well. They are in 17L ebb and flow tanks under a 400W HPS
They didnt really do anything for 3/4 weeks just stretched and formed little bud sites. They now seem to have stopped stretching and have been putting on a bit of weight for the last 3 weeks. There seems to be 2 distinct phenos, one is lankier and the buds look very hazey, the other is not as tall and the buds look a little bit fatter, I think this one has a bit more of the NL showing through. Im hoping the NL pheno will finish up in time, the hazeyer pheno well, thats a bit more unlikely. Its going to be a race for them to be ready before christmas and unfortunately they just have to be chopped as I am moving at christmas. I don't think they will be peak ripeness but another 5 weeks flower should see them right. Luckily I have a bumper stash of WWxC99 and the grapefruit to last me well past christmas and into the new year. Both are amazing to smoke, both are up and energetic but the widow adds that distinctive taste and stone to the C99 in the widowrella. Unfortunately the Nevs will be last grow for a while so the new X-line won't be grown by me until well into next year. Hopefully things will be up and running at some point in the new year but Im thinking a quick flowerer may be a priority when im up and running again. |
