My light arrived - LED Grow Lights - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

This week has been an early Christmas:
RODI filtration system arrived Thursday
126w LED arrived Friday
2x4 Silver Edition HydroHut purchased yesterday.

I can't wait to see what this 126w does.

The reasons we upgraded are as follows:
- Cabinet was too much work with the screen for SCROG, I am just learning and shouldn't be doing an advanced grow technique till I have my grow style down.
- The 250w HPS heated up our bedroom too much. I had the balast on the outside of the cab to keep internal temps down which it did really well but my fiance needs the room to be as cool as possible.
- We're hoping to pull more than the 4oz I did under my 250w.

awesome...my LED is also on the way and i can't wait to see how well it pans out.

i am mos def an amateur grower...but i personally wouldn't consider SCROG an advanced way to grow. it's very easy, and how i first learned to grow, actually. it's a good way to keep those pesky plants out of the lights, LOL.

good luck, i'll be watching every LED grow you guys throw down here.

Plants are still in veg but they are growing at a faster rate than I thought they would. I'm hoping to put them into flower this weekend.

Day 4 in Flower. I'll post updates periodically here but I am keeping a grow journal in the soil section here on ICMAG. I just like to stay in touch with the other LED users and this seems to be a good place.

Do we have a LED group yet? Like I know there was the 250w HPS user group and so forth....

How does a 126 watt LED, out produce a 250 watt? How do th Lumens compare? I'm confused. thx

I have a feeling that the LED should pull 4oz's. I don't know how close you have it to the canopy but you can bring it down fairly close seeing it's a 126W which is probably drawing around 100-126W... Wouldn't mind seeing it on a Kill-A-Watt or similar device to see what it's drawing..

Hmmmm. I guess I should check GP's LED kill-a-watt thread first before asking huh? Anyway my friend... glad to see you're all set and going and I'm sure the gf will be happier now too that the ballast is gone as well..
