Everyone on the other forums keep saying im loosing lumens and the lower bulb is useless, I shouldnt have one stacked ontop of the other.. the lower one is lighting the underside of the leaves which causes BIG problems..
Ive seen this setup time and time again, and i thought people got great results..
its two digital 600s in a 4.6x4.6x6.6 tent.. There are 3 purple wreck ladies and 1 la confidential.. pw vegd for 10wks and la con like 11 to get em big.. pw just finished 2nd week of flower, la con just finished 1st wk of flower..
My last grow I used 1 vertical 600 for some clones and it did great..
Opinions?

As long as you spin the plants around from time to time, i think it will work well.

Dude your shit is pimp. Just raise it as they grow. the bulb should be a little over the canopy. Like 6". Good job.

Its actually 4 plants.. 3 purple wreck and 1 la confidential.. all vegd for 10-11wks to get em bigger.. this was under 18hr on a 2' 8 bulb 192w flouro(flat veg).

The bottom light is at the middle/bottom side of the plants and the upper light is right above the canopy! I thought this was a good setup, lol.
As they stretch I plan to take books out from under the plants(lowering them) and raising the whole light/scrubber setup..


edit: I only have 4 plants in the flowering tent because I was doing a seed run.. i ran 7 pw and got 4 males and ran 4 la con and got 3 males :(.
Ive got a double gum mom and blue hash mom that Im letting get a little bigger, they are shorter flowering plants so Im going to put those two in next week.. that way Ill have 6..
But I would like more in there.. just finding my mothers still..
eventually Id like to have 4 separate shelving units, one on each wall, and like 3 shelves on each unit.. and a row of plants on the bottom.. that is the idea anyways.. prob wont be able to do that for a long time since Im findin my mums.

Also, I spin the plants daily, and rotate them to different positions every watering..

Height-wise, it doesn't look like you need two at the moment but, with trees like that, I'd think you need two by the end.

The wasted lumens comment is probably about the low plant count.

na they were saying my tent looks dark. lol.
they said that the bottom light is only doing harm because its shining on the underside of the leaves and will create serious problems with photosynthesis..

I dont think the lower one is useless. I think it needs to be raised a bit. Its more of an issue with using the bottom bulb more effectively.

something hasnt been mentionned yet:
why dont you put you carbon scrubber on top of the lamp and vice-versa with the extractor

whenever you have (or not) another extractor your plants would be happier with the extraction on top of the cab

i would definitively get another cool-tube (or make one with the two you have) and stack the bulbs on top of each others.
about this, i remember i have seen a topic on cool-tubes and it was may be about this exact subject , may worth a search...

it's looks good from here ! I have two 600's stacked in cooltubes one on top the other vertical is the way you should have a pretty good yield bro!!!
