Clone example test grow.

There seems to be a lot of problems with California Medical Marijuana users getting mislabeled clones. I provide clones for multiple clubs in california. I was wondering how I could improve my service in this regard. The solution I came up with is a test grow of several strains that I carry, further I plan on leaving clubs with samples in jars so patients can experience the aroma of the finished plant.

I've decided on using XXX-chem(sativa plant aka xxx-chem xxx og, tripple og), Hindu Skunk (aka pot of gold & skunk #1 x hindu kush), Deep Chunk X Strawberry Cough(strawberry cough not actually a parent), "the real og kush" (had a friend flower out the first test, didn't look to me like og kush more like a really good bubba), at least two cuts that are supposed to be romulan (neither one looks like the 20+ year old romulan clone only cut that used to be popular in Los Angeles but one is well known as romulan in the bay area), and Velvet Elvis (a breeders/growers personal genetics from years of crossing breeding and back crossing).

My question to you:
Are there any other cuts that are readily available in the bay area that you would like to see?
What medium should I flower in? I am considering Soil or Hydro tun aka lava rock.
Are there any parameters that would help? This test will be indoor, and will be finished before march 2010 in order to have things ready for patients outdoor grows.
Will this actually help patients, or is it a not worth my time?

Thank you for your contributions,

I wouldn't mind seeing a full, genetically true, comprehensive line of the chem/diesel/og family. If we could get just one single person to collect and distribute this one line on, say, an annual basis (like... Only chem 4 for 6 to 12 months so a person wouldn't be able to collect every pheno at once, but over time as they became familiar with whichever particular plant was available) I am sure such an individual would enjoy a healthy market.

Well, that'll never happen...

So I should try to test more of the og kush, chemdog, ny sour diesel strains, because this is what people want to grow?

Already have a blue dream vegging and will find some dream queen aka green crack. Any input as to what media I should use? Soil? Coco? Lava Rocks? I'm thinking it's going to be fox farm ocean forest.

sounds like...

you make drops at harborside

-everyone loves that chem/og/headband gear. its massive to the dome gear. i guess people like knowing their getting their moneys worth, and most of chemdog based weed is so high in thc content, you can reeeealy feel it.

-me tho, i like racier sativas, thats just me. heads casey jones came around, and i grew it out...hands down good pot.

from a production stand point, i know theres more cash in the faster, fatter indica dom hybrids, but the high kinda bores me.

as far as medium...um, do the one you like best. i use coco, but that just me. neither the best way, or the only way, just one way. peace, good luck.

Nycd I got from santa cruz is the dope. I also have bluedream, green crack and chem I got from berk area. (ClonesR'Us) They are the real deal, also had the hindu skunk-its junk. I heard ecsd was coming soon.

I'd like to know growing info specific to each strain. I grow something different each time so io don't have time to find out the strains needs. (Also, all the serious growers in washington are growing indoor, 1000k hps and hydro 5 gal. Buckets RocWool w/ hydroton-fyi)

That old school Bubbleberry from socal would be nice to see again.
Most people do rockwool, but I have seen a few in soil. The best is to use an aero cloner and have them with bare roots for buyers. Then if they want them in soil it's easy. The people who do aero/hydro will appreciate the bare rooted clones.
