Does ph and mold have anything to do with each other. Is there a certain ph level mold will not grow in.My Bud has some Green Giant X Rosetta Stone that he thinks is getting the mold a little. He does not want to use anything on them that might funk to flavor up at the end.So anyone knows anything about this, gimmie a post.

hello dog....
mold is caused by lack of air flow through ones grow space, if you think your seeing mold then incress(sp) the air flow in your room.....PH is a diffrent issue.... peace..... |

The mold can't grow in a high alkaline enviroment.
You can use straight water at a ph of 8 and up, but I have never tried this myself. |

Thank god the mold is not on my girls. The question was for a friend with the same strain as I.This strain has had mold issues. I heard this from a couple of people that grew them out.My friend lives realivitily close to me, so you see my concern.Mine have been flowering for about 27 days now but my friends are just starting now and he says he is already seeing signs of mold.Mine on the other hand had a nitrogen def. that thinned them out perfectily, because the loss of leaves.I've heard and seen that these girls tend to yellow way too early in flowering.I am using bio-grow to keep the yellowing at bay in addition to bloom ferts.Anyway the N def. I think helped me out with getting good air flow to them.I also was using SERENADE and some neem oil to try to make them mold resistent but not using now too much because of the way it can make your buds taste.LegitUser That was the answer My friend was looking for Thanks.Me myself did not know there was a relationship between PH@mold.
Learned something new.Thats always cool.Riesinish Thanks for the compliment. That blak shit at the base is shittie potting soil wet Thats funny isn't it.I had my girls in 7 1/2 gal. grow bags but because the size I was scared they would get rootbound. So I just dug some holes [4]cause that all I have.Gently cut the bags from them and put them in the holes with this shitty soil.I did not know it looked like this. That is kinda funny you asked.Pretty shitty dirt. They don't have long now so that will get my there I hope,Also I've heard and seen that these girls tend to start yellowing way to early in flowering.Mine started yellowing soon as they started flowering, from the lack of nitrogen.I just use some bio-grow with my bloom ferts. The color I think comes from the Rosetta stone part of it.Nice isn't it.I will be posting new pics soon at my thread in the outdoor forum.I guess thats were it got it's name because it's rosey look. Thanks agin for the replies. One of them is still in the bag.One I gave to a friend and it is a beast. You can see it in my gallery. The one with the bag.Well got to go start a thread on flavor enhancement so my nugz don't tasts like shit because of the neem oil and SERENADE. |

Does anyone know of any natural ph up or something that is alkaline[something with a ph of 8 or more] that also does not have adverse affect on the taste when use as a follier spray.I ask this because of mold ,not being able to grow in a high alkaline environment. So any suggestions please reply
I heard that some use some kind of alchol or something.

Foliar feed 1 tablespoon baking soda to 1 gal. water and a couple drops of liquid detergent.
If you can get your humidity to 50% it will stop growing. Goodluck. |

The absolute best all natural ph adjuster is made by EJ. it's i very fine powder/mixes easy & works very well with only using small ammts. As far as your intentions with it i have no idea if it will help with this mold issue. Best of luck for your bro. Peace 3ld

kalk or lime will do it fine... if you really wanna go far into organics then use fresh citris juice, but dilute it very very well

^ The DOC has spoken. And i'd take his advice...i'd personally go with the lime since it's the only one i have any personal experience with. Hope all gets straitened out Peace 3ld
