Congo Cob

This experiment in Cobb curing went pretty well. Around Three months ago I gathered lower flowers and smaller bits from my Congo plant. The flower material was still lightly moist with no manicuring or curing. I used Moist Congo fan leaves as an outer shell between the flower and the husk. It was then wrapped tightly in a large leather cloth (as to sweat) and buried shallow in a dry spot in the yard.
When I opened it this morning a very pungent smell of Honey with floral liquier and light anise (Uzo) tones filled the room.
The flavor is much more pronounced then before the cob cure. I find it has a strong earthy honey fresh floral palate. Hard to discribe the flavor.

The next time i probably need to cob while it is a little more moist as to break down more chlorophil.

Picture does this no justice.

Some flowers recently done curing.
Racos "Old Mendo" most was lost to mould but this flower survived. So much flavor. If it could be described it would take a whole page to do so.

Kali Mist-Serious seeds. Not the same flavorful flowers I remember avail in the Dam in the ninties. It still has the same pungent incense smell when burnt. Nice mild lime and spice taste with a strong racy mind high. My wife enjoys this one.

Thanks all.
Raco Why do you say One must spread reputation around before giving it to me? I hope I didnt say anything to offend anyone. I have respect for everyone unless one does not respect ones self.
I love the Nep\DC, I always thought it was Nepali \ DC. What is the Old Mendo in the cross?

Nice experiment, four seasons!

How does the cobbed congo compare to your conventional cured congo?

My Neeple had such an unusual flavor, I could never describe it.

At the top of any IC window is a dark green bar crossing the top w/ various menu options. Click on th 1st one on the left, 'My IC'. A whole new world will open up!
