Unhappy The Prophet: hermies EVERYWHERE!

Hi!
I bought a pack of Prophet and got 13 seeds , one was already dead (small & white/green ), 12 sprouted.
I've got five females , 6 males and one Hermie.
I'm at 38 days of flowering and I already killed one hermie at day 35.
today i found balls/nanners on 3 others plants one got a lot and i hope that the rest of my grow will not have too much seeds.

I don't have any ligth leaking and temp is ok, they just suffered a little N deficiency in the begining of flowering.
Along with them I popped 12 OG KUSH/blusat from S.O.L. got 6 females and NO hermie and from my 5 feminised sensistar got 5 fem.
So there's one prophet left and that's not the best .
I'am just realy disapointed.

ps: sorry for my bad english but I'm trying to do my best.

Mornin Vlad, sorry to hear 'bout yer herm problem. Gimme a run down of what's goin on in thar; how long you've been growin, hydro er soil, etc. Understanding that you have a couple other strains in yer room, it's pretty rare that a full pack would herm without stress or it being in it's genetics. Got any pics?

Also were all the prophet plants that hermied in the same spot? You can have 3 different strains, in 3 different places in the room, getting 3 different environments.

Reason I say this is I had a tent that had a light leak on the lower right through some zippers that would cause the plants on that side to sometimes hermie...I would think, well damn that strain has hermies on all and everything else is fine in the tent. So, it must be the strain, when in reality it was the location.

Steel:thanks for the quick response. I'm not the most experienced grower but i'm not a newbie too. I've done this for years now but not every years, done it inside outside in soil and hydro.

this time I'm in soil, under a 600hps in a darkroom tent.
As I said temp and humidity are ok, for the light I' ve done some test and every thing is ok (no leaking).
They suffered from a N deficiency a the begining of flowerig a little bit more than the other plants.
They'are in 7litters pot and they veg for 30days, maybe a rootbound?
I toped once and trained them, that could cause stress somtimes but i never had hermies from that.

Finally I just killed an other one and decided to let a chance to the others and I'm left with 3.
I don't have any pics because i 've cut those flowers as soon as I see them to prevent polination. I'll take pics if I see more.

I really don't know if i missed something or if it's from genetics but I didn't see any other hermies from Grindhouse here.
Thanks .

40amps: thanks to stop here, due to different strech from the prophet they were in differents spots the shorters under the lamps and the tallers on a side of the tent .

That's why I almost feel bad for ranting, but....

Perhaps breeders who delete grower experiences if they're negative are missing out on important feedback? As a buyer, I'm disgusted by these practices and am angry that the people on icmag aren't getting the whole picture about strain problems before they buy their seed "

I'm not trying to make assumptions, but personally for me the only reason i have ever had Hermies was from stressful conditions in my grow room. Usually from Light Problems, temp problems, etc.

I'm sure certain strains are more prone to Hermie than others, but i think most of it comes down to growing conditions. I am no expert though, so don't take my word for it.

Last grow though i had my power go out at random times, temp problems, overwatering problems, etc. and 2 of my Hashberrys Hermied and most of my other females threw out a few small nanners.

thanks SweetIndica!
I never had a lot of hermies before exept with some bagseeds and fem seeds, but this time i tried a new nutrient program and the plants suffered from some deficiency in the first 3weeks of flowering my temp is good and after a few test i don't found any light leaking and usualy I do more underwatering than overwatering.
I think that I found the problem early enough to avoid pollination of my whole garden.
I'll end with 3 prophets: 1 bubba dom , 1hybrid and 1 TT dom all are really looking tasty and frosty , the bubba dom seems to be the keeper : lot of resin , strong coffee smell and good yield.
I'm not saying that Prophet is an hermie strain, I'm the only one to report this so I must have done something wrong.
The bubba dom just throw a couple of nanners, is anybody know if i can keep her as a mother?

Vlad, based on all tha info you've provided, I would say it has been your environment/grower error that forced problems. Nute and under watering issues sound like yer main causes fer concern. Growing out clone counterparts, keep an eye on yer issues as well as yer plants in question. I'm happy that tha three females you do have, are showing nicely thus far.....

With that said, I'm gonna close this thread, as it's not as true as tha title would lead folks to believe. Vlad, please share pics of yer finished gals, I'm sure peeps are curious in how they finish out.
Stay healthy an' grow HARD,
Steele
