Ventilation for smoke lounge (1 room), what fan?

I'm turning one room of my house into a smoke room. basically just a regular room with comfortable chairs, great speakers, and dedicated ventilation (carbon scrubber).

I need a fan that's strong but quiet. 450 cubic feet. One powerful fan might be too loud, even a Panasonic Whisper* fan might be too loud. Maybe I should go with 3 small fans instead?

tobacco smoke, pot smoke, pot vapor, hookah smoke, smell of all of these, are the main things in the air I want cleaned out. About how many air exchanges per minute would be recommended?

Look into the tower hepa fans. A few companys make em. They dont change out very much air very quick they simply filter the air with hepa filters. The smoke is still gonna be in there but itll cut down on the smell. If you want to change out the air in the room all together I would go with installing a exhuast fan such as youd find in a rest room. Panasonic whisper line fans are aupposed to be quite. But im not sure on the cfm's and spec of em. Some one else can probably offer better help. I envy you, as im still goin outside to smoke. hahaha.. Sounds like your making a ManCave..

I love my Stanley Blower Fan.

Cheap, Quiet, and Efficient.

Mine has been on non-stop 24/7 for well over a year.
Works Great! No problems. *knock on wood*
