i was thinking about this today in the shower. my current dog loves the shower, and when me or my wife takes a shower, she sticks her head in and loves the water to wet her head. she also tries to lick it. once the soap comes out, she will then lay right outside it. she loves water, loves getting showers, loves really anything as long as i am there.
i've only had 4 dogs, and one other dog was OBSESSED with the shower. he was a small little lap dog, but he would always lick in the space between the shower door, and shower(my old house). This was nonstop, even when i soaped. he hated taking showers, but since it was a door, he couldn't get wet. once he heard that shower, he would run down, even from 2 levels up!
so 2/4 of my dogs loved the shower the other 2 could care less.
just wondering. if anyone has cats that like it, well that's impressive!

hah my dog hates the shower.... its a stubborn beagle but I love him to death

he still showers with me but no so happy at times

I had a cat that loved to do that. Hated getting wet but would poke his head in and watch the water splashing around. Sometimes after I got out he'd jump in and play with water running down the drain.

I have a step poodle, came with the girlfriend, kind of a package deal. She likes to take showers but you have to hold her, she will let the shower hit her right in the face lol.

My dog is more of a hot tub hound. Just gotta be careful when I add the bubble bath. He starts to ge panicky if the foaming bubbles get to high.

You know its weird. Our two dogs both LOVE water. Anything they find, be it the smallest puddle, they will rock out in (the one will even lie in the smallest puddle she can find). Fountains, ponds, they will go straight for it (again the one loves to immerse herself in the water). Yet they both hate showers. I don't know if it's the hot water, or the unnatural feel of it but they really dislike showers.

I have two dogs, the male has never liked water, the simple sight of me grabbing the hose to water the garden makes him run away if he's less than 5 meters away! The female, on the other hand, runs towards the sea whenever it is in sight, she swims very well! Gotta love animals!

she loves the shower,,but wont go swimming in the river...maybe the cold?....she loves the hair dryer aswell...i use this to dry her in the winter,

My pup, red nosed pit(100 pounder akc gaurd dog) absolutely LOVES a pond or river
or mud puddle or lake or stream or the rain or a fountain or spray from a hose...BUT
just try to get him into a shower or tub....almost like a death wish there. I'd rather
just play spin the fully loaded revolver to the head game...I would come out in better
shape. HA!
