If you are, I hope you won't mind posting your plant no's, medium, strain, pre veg & veg time and whatever else you think helps you to achieve the golden gpw+

A DWC with a vertical 600 watt will yield almost 2 pounds from 5 plants surrounding it...... every cycle

Ok Osirica.......I`ll go for it.....Not saying anything other than show me cuz my hand`s up having prospered many times in the 1.5 gpw range before retirement......but with more plants and light........

Now.....Tell me what size cut and strain was used and taken from mom plant or vegger , how long it took to root , how big it was for that one week veg to end up almost 6 1/4 ozs for a 2 lb per 600 watt vertical bulb yield in a DWC setup cuz it matters in the grand scheme of things...............

Gotta get this shit under control and back into perspective guys cuz apples and oranges ain`t the same nor forgetting about how long it took to get the numbers...........If it`s not timely........Then it`s costly.........period......... ....

I have just got to the point where i can get .75-.85 gpw with 8 plants surrounding a 1000 watter. All indica dominant medium to heavy yielders. No co2.

I think the OP needs to understand that alot of us vert guys arent using co2 and super aeroponic hydro setups to get our .6 - .9 GPW. Also alot flat gardeners still have to give it the ol college try in order to even get .5 GPW. So... I am a flat grower who has had one completely failed flat grow and 2 sucessfull flat grows with yields less the .4 GPW. I switched to vert my last grow and i achieved .8 GPW on that grow. I more than doubled my GPW just by setting up vertical.

Now im not saying that everyone will double up just by hanging a bulb vertical, but i am saying that you will increase your yields if you do it right.

My next run i plant to go from soiless/perlite mix to ebb & flow w/hydroton. I also plan to add co2.

Going by conservative estimates that say switching to hydro can increase yield by 20-30% and that co2 can increase yields by 20-30% im guessing that my new setup i will be able to at least increase my yield by a total of 20%.

Im pretty sure that i will see my 1 gpw then.

I should iron a few things out for clarity.

I ask about this as I used to grow flat, I followed alot of threads from back on OG/CW regarding tree's/ mini trees, coir n hydroton etc etc yada yada. Now I seen grows where the trees yielded 1.25+ gpw.

I have just started reading up on whats going on again and getting a grow together, after moving so I am looking into a vert sog instead of trees as the space is not there for those. Then I see thissection on IC and wondered who had their shit locked, so I could then go onto search their threads etc without having to pm the ballbags off them for info ya dig?

What I am trying to tease out here is it seems to me that those who have pulled high gpw no's from these systems are using lots of plants or vegging long... I mean like 65 - 85 plants per 600w for the 1.5+ figures or a shit load of vegging and some big ass trees.

Heath Robinson seems to be getting alot of props at the min for the systems he built and pwned by all accounts (2gpw!) I am looking into building one of his verts.

RMCG, cheers for that link haven't seen a tree grow for a min!
