First things first. Lemme intoduce my self, Hello. I'm sticky_bud and I'm new here.I been a long time lurker finally stepin to the light. Any ways, Cheers to Mdanzig for the Blue streak seeds I got last year from the Boo!! This will be a run of the babies i made of the blue streak.
Ok, so I know someone thats in need of some Medical smoke but is very low on fundage. Shes a tad older and don't smoke all that that much, espessially with good herb. So I figured I'd help her out and build the easiest thing she could effectively operate with her illness. This first run will be a trial run to get all the kinks worked out so that she can just set it and forget it so to speak... With a lot stuff lying around and a couple items picked up from lowes and a ton of ingenuity We have the... Autoflower Tower *(10)Bluestreak seeds "A" pheno - free (still have a few of these left...) *(1) PC Tower - 19"H x 15"L x 8"W about .83 sq.ft - free *(3) 23w CFLs, 2 2700k, 1 3500k. - free *(4) $0.97 6ft extension cords - $4.00 total *(3) $2.00 plug in sockets - $6.00 total *(3) Pc fans for ventillation - free *(2) AC/DC plugs - free *(1) roll of metal tape - $7.00 Less than $20 total For the lights I just plugged the cfls into cheapo extension cords with the cheap plug in light sockets. I'm contiplating a 50w or 70w HPS but those lil HIDs cost more than this whole setup as it is...Plus me thinks heat may be an issue, i wanna see how the cfl's do first. I must say that I'm not sure if the HPS will be needed in that tiny ass space, its pretty friggin bright as is... I'm also thinkin bout swithin out the 3500k for a UVB cfl later in bud, that would defintly help the medical factor here. For Intake I used a 90mm PC fan and for exaust I used a PC squirrel fan and a 80mm PC fan. I haven't got a thermometer yet but the exaust air is cool and the the case is cool to the touch. Next time in town i'll pick one up. I used that metal tape to line the interior for light proofing/reflection. It's pretty hard to lay that out without crinklys but it don't have to be perfect. There were these damn motherboard mounts pokin out from the back that i couldn't remove, I'm sure you notice that behind the tape... The fans make a bit of noise but the whole thing is stealth, looking like a "server"... I just germed the seeds today at 11:00am. I have some pics of the case in its begining stage attached. And some pics of the first batch of the Blue Streaks. I changed it around inside as far as the ventillation shown in the pics. The intake fan stayed the same, just the exhaust is different. I also removed the lil reflector so that i could get the 3 cfl's in there I'll get some updated pics for ya'll once the plants start goin. Untill next time ya'll. ![]() ![]()

Thank you sir.
When I made these seeds I only used one male to 2 females, so my seeds were pretty uniformed in pheno types. I tried to use the most robust male I had. One was the micro pheno with the really twisted curling leaves (pheno b) And the other was the taller pheno that branches a lilttle, very nice. (pheno a) Both are very good smoke, the micro pheno actually was the more potent of the two. Did anyone else get the twisted micro pheno from inbreeding?? I also have noticed a higher Male to female ratio than expected. More like 65+% males.... They appear so quickly it doesnt make that much different anyways.... Thanks again for stoppin by. |

Ok, so we have 1 seed germinated allready. I have noticed that these all take quite longer than their parents to germ.
I remember hearing somewhere that anything with ruderalis genes were supposedly hard to germ, I only noticed that they just take a couple more days than the usuall 48hrs..... Planted #1 put baggie dome over it. 12-3-09 9:00am |
