This is a very interesting method, I will be parking here for a while,
I love the constant garden idea, as it is very efficient. Also being the miserly person I am, I love your use of wood pallets, and recognized them instantly. Nice!Growdoc, I am curious about maintainance on a system like this. About how often would you say that you change the soil out? Also, I was thinking, is it possible then for you to do a flush on your beds? What I mean is say you accidentally 10x over-fert, and need to flush, could you flood water from top of soil, and drain runoff through the drainage hose that is snaked through the dirt and out of bed? Basically the opposite of intended use? Hope this makes sense. As others have said, a big thanks and hats off to you for taking the time to share your unique style, as it is very beneficial to many! GrowinGoo, I add all my nutes into the soil. All i have to do then is add water, so there is no overferting. I also make my own Guano Thee just in case there are not enough nutes or something is lacking. Change out my soil every 1-2 years. I guess you could design the hose in the bottom to do what ever you want, some creativity can go along way.
Thanks for the kind words... I really like it here on icmag, feels good every day! Growdoc |

thanks doc!
i was wondering why don´t you use the bat guano instead of the guano peru? since bat guano is richer in phospor and guano peru is richer in nitrogen. in my ignorance i think that the bat guano would give a bigger bloom. or you can use both dependig on the needs of the plant. what do you think doc? thanks |

Right now i am doing some testing for Plagron... I have used bat gauno in the past for thee and combis of the 2, This thee works the quickest and i have lots of "P" in the soil all the N makes the P more mobile, or so is my theory.
I use beneficial bacteria for ponds and atteriums(cant spell)... Growdoc |
