(In a Robot Voice) "Drooooiiiid"
So, I have my motorola droid, how bout you?
![]() I thought maybe we could use a thread w/ tips, tricks, etc...w/ regard to the droid, couldn't think of a better area than this, so WHAM, double tap. Here it is lol.![]() ![]() So I have no idea why my shit spontaneously spawned all those smileys but anyway, do you like your droid? Lots of free apps! My gripe, I think it's kind of annoying that shit will just run, spontaneously start in the background, even after you end all running processes w/ a task manager, I tried a couple of them. If I can help anyone out here I will, it's kinda my hobby I guess, wireless shit, and I hope that there are lotsa droid users here that can teach me some cool shit as well. ![]() I am going to enjoy making a shit load of new custom ringtones and being able to actually use them again! I also think it's pretty nice that you get a 16G card w/ the phone, very niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. Another gripe, it doesn't appear to me that you cannot use a "mark/select all" option say if you have a fuck ton of new unread that are just bull shit and you want to select all or mark the whole folder "as read". THAT'S ANNOYING. I am going to bite the bullet and attempt to use the google calendar and shit now, I used to use outlook religiously for years, and finally it pissed me off enough one day I installed thunderbird and have used it since. The one super duper nice thing was the contacts/calendar sync w/ windows mobile, oh and being able to read the common file ext that everyone on earth pretty much uses (word, excel, etc..) Flash is coming out w/ a versioin for droid 2.0, yay, I guess? shrug? There is a software update coming too in Dec? We'll see. I do have to say I like the browser and speed, it is fast. Droooooooooooiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid .

I dunno depends. Verizon has the htc imagio w/ winmobile 6.5 if you use outlook and need to be able to view/edit/attach windows docs then that is the way to go.
I like the droid but I don't think it's that super duper. The marketing behind it is off the chain It is a neat device though. Who is your provider? Droid is slick w/Gmail. What do you do with your phone? |
