Arrow Body buidlers come in here

(Body BUILDERS, im stoned)

Ive been goin to gym for a long ass time

But a year ago stopped doe to health problems

Im thinking of starting working out again soon...

I just ordered $400 worth of all kinds of health food

My biggest problem is my cardio which was fucked by some outside sources... i have low stamina and heaviness around me , cant do shit. But ive been looking into it and i think it might be possible to remove this problem with a strong mind and meditation - rewire my energy bodies chakras etc...

Anyway, i am amazed at how the body buidling science has imporved in the last few years...

Starting with creatine, ive never even heard of it in the 90s... but it sounds like a really good thing. I got a big ass tab of this

Then i got 2 kinds of energy boosting mixes which should help me with my cardio...

And finally some WHEY expensive protein
That stuff supposed to be really good for muscle buidling

Anyone a regular gym member?

I found that working out has positive effects on:

Weed high is more pronounced
I can get some cool jobs
Chicks dig it

whats up desant... this will be my first day going to the gym in a while.. I too like to spend money on supplements ie protien, amino acids, kre-alkylyn, and food.. My body loves to metabolize everything i ate as soon as i ate it..lol..so for me it really helps if im am drinking protien shakes 4-5 times a day, along with eating my regular meals... I feel like you must create the perfect anabolic environment in your body to achieve the greatest results possible, so make sure that you are taking in lots of amino acids, and also b vitamins help with energy and metabolism.... Lots of bodybuilders are into meditation and yoga, so you are definately on to something their....and remember... "a sound mind in a sound body" and you should be good... peace

Dude you order 400buks worth of health stuff?! Whyy for god sake?

If you just starting after a year not training.. Just go and train! You dont need any extra's.
Maybe when you work out a year or so, then add some extra protein. But you dont need that just yet.

ALL other supplements who say they improve youre strength and stuff are BS. The energizers are the same as rebull only in a tablet vorm. Every thing is based on cafeïne, and taurine. The important thing of training is in the ( HARD ) workout, HEALTHY food and sleep you get.

Youre body wil not 'absorb' more food, then it needs ( in terms of lean muscle grow ). Also when you STUFF more food in it... I admit, when youre force more foods in your 'bulk' will be faster... But thats because you will be adding fat. And not gaining more lean muscle..

Most important thing is lissen to your body. If youre hungry, then eat ( healthy and not supplements ).

Only thing that will make you actually 'grow' harder are anabolic steroids....

Just my 2cents,

( o, i work out 3-5times a week for 1-2 hours per training in a normal gym ( cardio + powertraining. And I study Health Sciences at a university in Europe, just so you know i am not pulling all this out off my ass .
Anyway, enjoy you're training ! )

I thought you where supposed to use creatin when you reach a plateau.

Isn't it best in the beginning to just start slowly and eat 6 times per day?

Anywho i have been non active for 2 years.

But i kept the eating habits from when i worked out and i quit smoking , result--> EUH i NEED to hit the gym again

actually, you want to use creatine before your workouts, along with protein. creatine boosts mass mechanically by increasing the amount of fluid held in the muscle tissue - the pressure that fluids puts on the tissue makes the muscle grow. it also increases levels of insulin like growth factor 1 (igf-1), which is involved with muscle growth. it also boosts the amount of quick energy your muscles can draw on, allowing you to train heavier and more reps. make sure your creatine is very high quality or your body will not be ale to absorb it and you will just shit it out.

you should not hold off on the protein, this is critical! protein = muscle, straight up. protein first thing in the morning to flood fasting muscles with amino acids. pre workout to ensure enough energy for your workout and post workout to aid in recovery and further boost growth.

i buy the BSN protein dessert and syntha 6. they come in the most delicious flavors, they actually taste like a milkshake, so fucking good! i drink the syntha 6 pre workout because it has more calories and carbs. then i drink the dessert post workout and maybe 1 or 2 more during the day.

as for food, 6 meals a day. if its to much food, drink a protein drink to replace it. make sure all your food is "clean food". nothing processed, no sugar, eat nothing that is white. i probably take in 2500-4000 calories a day and i continue to lose fat and gain bulk.

you will most likely will need to figure out how to eat right. its hard when your used to certain foods and have sugar cravings. it took a few months to figure out how to eat right.

i cooked dinner for my friends a few days ago. italian flavored ground turkey, whole wheat pasta and vegetable spaghetti sauce. all of them said "when did you get off your diet, thought you were just eating clean food". not one of them realized how healthy they were eating till i told them.........

well when i worked out it was one decent meal a day rice , chicken and vegetables , or spaghetti bolognese with beef , one meal was a milkshake directly afterr my workout , then there is the breakfast , that was brown bread with chicken filet or beef filet , fruit juice and joghurt

the rest of the meals where fruit , joghurt light stuff. I treid to vary as much as i could .

I even weighed everything I ate for 4 years.

When i stopped working out i was used to eating a lot but i replaced everything with bad stuff(thc induced munchies)

It's real difficult but this past week i changed my eating habits and slowly i want to get in the same rythm as i was in before.

First i wanna get my fitness level at a decent level by just running, and i also wanna swim to loosen up a bit and after 2 months i wanna hit the gym again.

But first i need to tone the small muscles and loosen the joints again

I wanna find a gym where they also offer yoga , cuz weightlifting sure made me stiff

When I get back into training after a break, I like to start off just doing lots of bodyweight stuff ie pull ups, dips, push ups they arent too crazy but build most of the major parts of the upper body.....also protien needs to be taken in i think at least 1 gram per lb of bodyweight, just to keep that weight and more to get to the desired weight...like if you want to weigh 180 lbs and you are 175 lbs, then you need to take in 180 grams of protien...also the type of protien plays a major roll in how well your body can use it... creatine can be used, i prefer kre-alkylyn, just remember that your body needs to take breaks when using supplements, so if you have been taking the same supplement like creatine for longer than say 2 months i might think about cycling off it and letting your body become more receptive to it again... if you like to read i would suggest ULTIMATE BODYBUILDING by Joe Weider, and Extreme Muscle Enhancement by Carlon M. Colker, M.D.
