I am interested in hearing about this also as I am about to undertake my first hydro project and would like to go organic.

I used the humboldt organic lineup for soil but I would let it brew in a couple 5g buckets for at least a day. Anyway after watering there was a lot of gunk in the buckets. I personally would not want to put that in my res. Maybe there are some other organic mixes you can use for hydro that wont make such a mess. just my 2c
