I'm a very big fan of NYCD. I discovered that strain by accident while i visited Amsterdam around 2008. I got it from Green House Coffe Shop in Harlemstraat. It was the best tasting strain i ever had and i feel totaly in love with it. I would kill to get that RPG Soma Cut.
I did a selection with 30 fem. seeds original from Soma,and could not find anything even near that GF pheno. I also tried a lot of NYCD hybrids from other breeders but nothing could come even close to the real deal. The best results i got was with Barneys Red Diesel. Very simmilar bud structure and appearence. Indica dominant with big calyx's and purple leaves by the end of flowering. Two phenos smelled very nice. Not so much grapefruit but more lemon. But it lacked in taste. It didnt had that nice aroma-taste transition that lingers on your tongue forever like the real deal does. So they were discharged. I'm still on the hunt for that pheno but the seeds are very very expensive IMHO. I can't believe how somebody can put a price so high for a strain so unstable like the NYCD. I respect Soma and his work but he is a greedy fuck,sorry Soma.

Hello guys, i bought 2x 10 pack of NYC diesel of SOMA´s, 7 died when i dryed them, when not baby sitting home. I bought them on web of Amsterdamseedscenter, and all of them were girls, so they were probably feminized, even there was regular written on the box. I am still working on selection, so we will C. Cheers
