Colon Cancer - looking for advice

Hello folks. Sadly a family member's cancer has relapsed, after having been away for a few years now. I've been told its much worse than before but we're kind of being kept in the dark at this point about how far things are along.

This family member has sought me out to grow him some cannabis for personal consumption and I didn't really know where to start because I know little about the affliction. He will start chemotherapy relatively soon (I was told) and the doctors think they might not have caught it early enough so this may be just a pain reliever/quality of life grow instead of a true theraputic grow.

Any strain suggestions would be very helpful. I would also be interested in recieving cuttings as well as plants started from seed might be cutting things a little short. I'll give him as much of my current grow as possible but unfortunately I plan to only yield an ounce or so of cured product so I don't know how helpful that will be.

Here's hoping things look up

Mate any help you can ask for is available here, appart from cuttings. You see that is distribution of cannabis, and illegal, (yeah I know, but there's illegal and there's illegal.)
I feel for your situation and are probably a genuine guy, not looking to get anyone into trouble, but you have to apreciate that as far as we know, you are some kind of law enforcement officer looking to close the site down that could help you help your family member. I have no experience of what helps for chemo, I'm sure there will be people here who could advise you on that fairly quickly, but not as long as you leave that cutting thing in your post. I can't say for sure that that is the reason that you haven't got any replies, but I would take a guess at that being the case.

Hi,

Im feel for you mate. I myself have colon cancer, and just been told I have it in my stomach as well.
The chemo really knocks me around, I wasnt planning on taking it at first but My mrs demanded that I did.

So anyways I have tried a few different types and the Indica is a good choice for smoking when in bad pain.
Sativas are good for taking the edge off during the day but doesnt seem to offer as good pain relief.

Hang in there mate, the doctors have alot of good stuff these days.
lets just hope they DID get it in time and the chemo and radiology helps.

Take care mate.
