My Lite-Brite is HERE !!!!!

I just got back from picking up the 126w unit.

First off it is a basically unmarked cardboard shipping box. A couple stickers in Chinese and your UPS shipping tag and the international documents it needs to be shipped in to this country.

It is more or less the size of a VCR machine but weighs more and it is really bright. I plugged it in not really knowing what to expect and I tell you these LED's are not the ones you messed with in electronics back in High School.

When I heard of LED's being used to grow I like most was thinking no way and that is because I kept thinking back to the HS class 20 years ago now.

Without opening it up and looking it feels heavy and well constructed. ( You know what I mean. ) Sometimes you can pick things up and just feel how cheap it was made etc....

I'll start my thread and send a link to LedGirl so she can post it in here for people to find.

Here is a Sour 60 at day 45 from seed on 24/7.

I just put them on a timer on 20/4 and about to give them their last feeding of the mild tea mixture.

WAIT, 20/4??? Damn S_a_H, you're throwing me for a loop with them autoflowers lol! As someone with EXTREMELY limited knowledge on the subject, would you mind a brief explanation as to the growing process with them? I'm curious to find out the lighting hours and other variables that appear to be different from conventional growing methods. Other than that, the plants look really nice!

Autoflowers or at least what I call a true autoflower is plant that flowers based on age and not light schedule.

Now until tonight the units have been on 24/7 I have not shut them off since I turned them on.

So you can have them on 24/7 , 20/4 , 18/6 , 14/10 , 12/12 etc....

What I like to so is have some AF's going while at the sametime that regular 12/12 strains are vegging. So most true AF's need only 7-10 weeks for its complete life cycle. Once the AF's are done you go ahead and drop your 12/12's into a 12/12 light schedule and they usually harvest 8-9 weeks after that.
