White widow outdoor uk flowering diary

First off, I have a question that is confusing me, can anyone help, When you are calculating how long the plants have left do you count from the day you changed the photoperiod or the day the pistils start showing? Also, a friend told me to give WIDOW an extra week of 18 hours darkness 6 hours light then it will really pack the trichomes on (I dunno where its gonna pack them on, there doesn't look like there's room for any more tichs now), he is an experienced grower and so far every bit of advice he's give me has been spot on, I was hopin Female seeds could give me any information on this?

Here is a photo diary of one white widow from FEMALE SEEDS flowering, I have others but they have been flowering for less time but from the early looks of things, this plant isn't the best. I have been growing in soil/perlite mix under a 10000000000000000000000000000w att light (the sun) but supplemented on cloudy days and mornings with a 400 watt HPS, fed on IONICS grow/bloom/boost formulars, with rhizotonic as a root stimulator, BNzyme as a growth promoter and BCuzz Bloom stimulator:

This is her in VEG, about 2 weeks before photoperiod change

Here she is 9 days after change in photoperiod, just starting to show:

Here she is at 13 days in, still no smell at this stage:

18 days in and she is starting to stink:

26 days

and here she is at 29 days, starting to get frosty she smells absolutely deliscious:

UPDATE

OK, here she is 3 days later at 32 days;

She is definately getting frostier and frostier, Here is a photo of her sister, flowering more slowly at 24 days but there is definately a higher calyx to leaf ratio on this ice maiden and even the larger fan leaves and stalks are frosting up:

The flowering phase of the plant will start from the time you change the photoperiod from 18/6 or 24 hours of light per day......to 12/12.....many plants will not show flowers untill at least a week or two into 12/12....some are quicker than others...

...Your White Widow is starting to look exeptional......it's probably loving the rays from the big halide in the sky combined with the H.P.S......getting the most out of both spectrums.....

...Good luck to ya man.......always good to see it happening in my own country....

Hey thanks

Hey don't worry, I'll put an update here every two days, so next one due tomorrow, Hey thsnks GYPSY NIRVANA for the advice and confidence boost, Growing white widow outdoors has been a bit of an experiment, I'm still worried that it could get damp at the end of the flowering season, just gotta keep my eyes peeled.

Very interresting rap1up and you realy deserve respect for the effort you put into this. You will harvest a lot of experince too, growing this way.

This is a way to harvest rich christal-covered buds. Somehow plants forced into flowering outdoors are very dense covered with christals/THC-glands, compared to their sisters grown indoors. However as you noticed, one can encounter a lower flower to leaf ratio and the most smelly & very good tasting buds.

Most interresting is the cause of this difference, Is it the big halide in the sky?? Is it the difference in day/night temps? or maybe the changing photoperiod from 13/11 to 10/14????
