Let's Design My 3000w Vertical Flower Room!

High all!

I've been planning my grow for a long time now and have FINALLY come to the conclusion that since I'm dedicating a full 10.5 x 13.5 bedroom to my grow, there is no reason not to go vertical (special thanks to krunchbubble and your awesome threads for the inspiration). At the moment, I'm vegging a good amount of clones/mothers in my 4x8 veg tent that will continually feed this room. The 4x8 tent will be sitting in the room, which leaves me give or take 100 square feet of usable space to flower in the room.

I'm going to be running 3 x 1000w hortilux hps bulbs. In my veg tent I'm running a 400w mh and an 8-bulb T5.

I'm hoping some of you vertical experts could help me draw up a great plan that will not only be efficient but will put out consistent results without the constant work such as training and bending like you would in a horizontal scrog.

That being said, here is a little sketch of the room we are working with:

So far I have been tossing around three different set-ups...but that doesn't mean I am ruling anything out. I simply want the best yields and fattest frosty nugs that I can get with simplicity and efficiency. I plan on handwatering in coco using a water wand...but I am open to setting up drippers as well.

Idea 1
Hang 3 bare 1000w hortilux hps bulbs surrounded by 10-12 plants that have been vegged for about 1 month for a total of 36 plants. The reasons I like this is I can pretty much throw any size of plant in there, hand water it, rotate it, and know I'd be getting good yields if my temps and such are set. What I don't like about it is that I've been seeing the best yields in vertical systems with 360 or stadium styles and/or the heat could turn into an issue if I'm not running A/C.

Idea 2

Hang 3 bare 1000w hortilux bulbs in the middle of a four-level stadium. The stadium would be built out of racks so that I could just sit the 2 gal grow bags of coco on top of the racks and have super simple and clean drainage. I would probably put 6-8 plants that have been vegged for 2-3 weeks on each level, for a total of 50-60 plants. **I've also tossed around the idea of stacking the bulbs in a stadium style but if stacking it seems that 360 would be the only way to go?**

Idea 3

Build a square 360 room with 3 shelves. Each shelf would be built like a foot wide with a 8-9" panel to support the front of each plant so they don't topple over when they grow bigger and towards the light. The shelves would be angled so that each plant would be leaning towards the bulbs set in the middle. I feel like this set up could get me the biggest yields because each plant would almost be automatically scrogging itself. I feel that it would be ideal to stack cool tubes so each level could get its own dedicated 1000w, but if I don't run cool tubes I would probably try to set up the bulbs on some kind of adjustable levels where I would rotate them every third day so that there is even light distribution on all 3 levels.

I'm really a complete newbie to vertical so any suggestions from you guys on how to use this space properly would be more than appreciated.

I will be running CO2 and I have an A/C that I would like to avoid using since I think the ambient temperatures here in Santa Cruz are cold enough except during Summer, but I may be wrong and A/C might be a must with vertical unless I'm doing cooltubes? I'm hoping to not have to go buy 3 new cooltubes this round unless completely necessary.

Anyways, I'm stoned and tired so I'll probably find myself rambling too much if I don't end this here. Thanks all in advance for any help or even for clicking on this thread

Ahh...I give you a full room and 3kw and not one person can help me muster up some imagination and come up with a legit set up here?

Shucks

im working with a 10x8 room and im going to use a "stadium" type setup. i have 3 6's in a line, cooled. They are in a horseshoe fashion i have 2 rows of trees instead 4 and 5 with smaller plants like everyone else. im going to use 2 ebb and grow control buckets for each level with maybe 24-25 plants total

you might wanna take a look at rainmans 8ft of catpiss thread:

i think if you build up something similar on hydro you will have a nice system which can perform incredibly well.
