cfl bloom bulbs

has anyone tried the 210 watt cfl bloom bulbs? I have 2 that i use in veg ,but normally I run a 1000w hps for bloom. this grow has a dark spot on one side of the room and was thinking about adding one of my clf's with the bloom bulbs instead of buying another hps

Hi Hillbilly,
I never used those bulbs, but CFLs can be used in all stages of the grow. There the only bulbs I use throughout my grow. I use 42w CFLs that I buy in HD for like $10 each. I had a 95w CFL, but when it died, I never replaced it because I don't think its worth the $50 it cost. For the same price, I can get 210w from HD. Good luck with your grow.

I use cfl's with veg and bloom. I use 125's two for a 2x3 area. I also use them in my bloom chamber to help around the bottom's of the plant's. The6y put out both red and blue light. The plants don't seem to mind much and rather look a little healthier for it.

I have one cabinte that only uses cfl's for bloom. They work fine and bud's develop at the same rate. Lower heat too!

Good Luck.
